Congrats to Chris Stewart of Wallan for winning Bowen Medal at tonight’s medal count. And further congrats to Matty Traynor of Wallan on his third consecutive Scarborough Medal for B&F in the reserves competition. What an achievement! Congrats also to Tom Doyle of Gisborne Giants on winning the...
There are limited passes provided to clubs each day for those who are hosting, canteen, raffle and bar. (Not transferable from day to day ie one ground only)
Passes for players/officials will be provided for grand final only
I agree a multi day pass would be a great idea. I will raise it with...
Just clarifying for all, the red card was given as it was the second send off in the game. The report was minor striking and the charge was not sustained.

Most clubs do not do live scores for 19s and ressies. Just input final scores.
Canteen was quiet as they ran out of food before reserves game was completed. Very poor. All prices were excessive including alcohol which was way over the top
Yes they rely heavily on Assumption players. Hence their withdrawal from the 19s competition during the season. Did not have sufficient non Assumption players to regularly field a team.
To clarify for you all - onfield umpires have ear pieces and mikes and can communicate with each other. Umpire coach on sidelines can only hear on field conversation. And they have been used all year
Car parking available at both high school (across the road) and bowling club (up the hill).
Have successfully hosted finals in previous years. Also Northern FL did not see a problem with Wallan hosting several junior finals over the last weeks
Today we farewell a stalwart of the RDFL in Charlie Watson.
Condolences to his wife Betty, daughters and family, as well as Charlie's many friends in both football and the wider community.
You will be missed Charlie - RIP :blueheart::heart:
