I don’t know who these other players are. But I doubt they will expect to go from a couple of games out of the finals to a premiership contender. Make finals would be the first goal.
I actually never said he was leaving in the first place. But I know he had chats with another club he has connections with.
Your the same guy that stuck up for Ryan? He has set that club back a long way and to think otherwise is dillusional.
There was a brilliant turnout at the 50th year...
Heard Scotland has had a change of heart and will be staying on at Bundoora now and sign soon. You’d hope this idiotic behave on the weekend doesn’t impact his decision.
That just compounds the issue after those other 2 left. Hopefully they can finish off the year with a couple of wins. Speaking to someone Saturday night at a function, he said they had about 12-14 players 20 and under on Saturday. I thought he was putting a bit of mayo on it, but he might be on...
Yeh starting this week. I can’t see Craigeburn winning looking at there team last week.
Wouldn’t surprise me at all if Oak park do a Bradbury and sneak in.
I still think the 5 is up for grabs out of 4 teams.
Craigeburn and Oak Park have the easiest draws coming home, with only 1 game against a top 4 team. The other 5 against teams around or below them. They play each other this week and I’d say whoever loses that is probably done.
Roxburgh will...
-Needs 3 games
-Played 1 already
-Richmond still has 1 more bye to come so will play for heidelberg then I’d say
- Then either Richmond miss finals and he qualifies in the last Heidelberg game of the year or would have to sneak another game in, which is doubtful in his form.
Richmond also have...
Agree, it's a very interesting watch that game. If St.Albans come out and touch them up, then it comes down to 4 teams, which we all expected. If Craigeburn can role them. Could they possible push for a double chance?
Very intesting game this week with Fitzroy vs Parade. I think this will give us an idea of where both teams are at.
Heidelberg West look like they have gone backwards in a hurry. Let's hope we don't see them go all the way back and join Lalor and Reservoir in the coming years. Wouldn't surprise...
Heidelberg
Montmorency
North
Hurstbridge
Banyule
Greensborough
Bundoora
West preston
Eltham
Bundoora
I think Heidelberg still has the quality to finish top 3 and if they can get a couple of VFL players back for finals, then they are going to be very hard to beat again. I actually think the...
Yeh good question. I presume if they are signed they would have to go back. There would have to be some rule. If they arent signed not sure there original club can do much. I'm probably wrong
Where they are located is no excuse. They are 25 mins from Bundoora. I don't know why they go up and aren't competitive. Maybe they simply don't have the money to recruit or just can't attract players. Who knows.
Probably more profitable for them to win a premiership every 4-5 years, then...
Interesting to see how many games he plays. I'd say he will still see a good chunk at Heidelberg. Handy player to come into your team come finals time.
You would virtually have to employ someone just for that and it would have to be someone qualified. You can't have any joe blow go through the footage and guess if there is a concussion.
Your talking 40 odd hours off footage from 3 divisions.
Just like match payments, you simply can't control the concussion protocols.
Most of the trainers at clubs aren't qualified to diagnose a concussion for starters.
Players and coaches will find a way around it.
Just go to your local GP and get a certificate to say there was no concussion. They...
Gilmore should be the most dominant player we have seen in Div 3 for a long time. Ruck or forward, he's going to be a nightmare to stop.
But do Parade have the depth to compete with the top teams? Interesting
My early guess would be Heidelberg, North, Montmorency, Hutsbridge and Babyule to finish in the finals. But wouldnt surprise me if Greensborough or Bundoora sneak in.
Bundoora have picked up another player in Sam Green who was in the team of the year for Clarence. Not sure of his quality.
There best 22 will still be a decent side. When you have the likes of Collins, mcevoy, Thomas, Younan, bowne, Davies, sturgess and a few recruits running around, it's not...
Settle down. They were pretty ordinary last year. They would have to improve alot just to make the top 5 and then top 3 is an even bigger step. Can't see them finishing above Heidelberg, Mont or Nort. Then Hurstbridge for me. I think they will be fighting for that 5th spot.
