There is always space in our wafl team.
Yeo is injury prone and can also play half back.
Kelly looked a cooked last year and may never return to his best
Hewitt hasn’t even got on the park
Pick 3 could need a year in wafl to develope
Baker can play HF/mid
I don’t see any problems with getting...
Probably been discussed but could WCE in theory walk Baker to the pre-season draft this year?
Considering the Brockman scenario I cant see this happening, but as we have pick 3 we would be first in line since I can't see North/Richmond picking him up when he clearly has requested a move back to...
Fingers crossed there is something to this.
However, Essendon don't have much draft capital this trade period (Picks 8, 28, 82) so I'm not sure what would get this done?
Future 3rd or possible fringe player in return?
Looking at the top 20 picks of 2010, Gaff was probably the right choice for the Eagles list at the time and stands out as one of the best of his draft class.
Well done Gaff.
A few theoretical idea's, would you?
1) Straight swap Barras for Warner?
2) Trade/Drop Sheed and pick up Graham as replacement?
3 a) - Trade B. Williams and pick up English for free?
3 b) - Play B.Williams forward + move O.Allen to backline and get English for free ? (subject to Barras...
Think we were lucky that Gold Coast dropped the ball, lots of their forward entries went astray and were turned over to our backline.
Notwithstanding this, I liked how the 'team' played a bit more like a 'team' and made efforts to run for each other and get a 1-2 over the top rather than...
My stand out moment was when Ryan chucked a sook due to a poor kick in his direction which went to an opponent. Stood there waving his hands in the air at the kicker as the opponent with the ball ran (closer to walked) past him. Good indication of the team spirit right now.
I get that priority picks/FS/academies are ruining the draft, but we should absolutely apply and receive priority picks this year if AFL wants to be considered and create a 'fair' game.
We have won 18 of our past 83 games and 8 of our last 61 games.
Assuming we don't win again this year and...
It confirmed, I just found this on the interweb and Trey has told his mum he will be debuting for us....

I put a $10 bet on at the start of the season that we would win our first game today. Glad the Weagles proved me wrong the last two weeks and hoping they can make it three on the trot
Anyone know much about job security of Conway?
Trying to figure out if Conway will be there for Rd 5 & 6 to cover Gawn and Grundy byes.
Also, who is best value out of:
Dempsey (higher price but appears to have a high ceiling and low BE right now and could go 600k+? over next few weeks)...
My season positive so far is that Jaminson is showing signs he can play football. Much more solid player down back that him dangling in the ruck. Was thinking Eagles should consider dropping him at end of lst season but have been pleasantly surprised this year. Unsure if he’ll make it long term...
Jack Buller could have been a look in but its not really about what player we could have gotten as per my previous post to Keys, more about WCE being there for the opportunity to draft someone who slips through other teams if present and also keeping a full list as per my previous reply to Keys...
Its not about who we could have got or would have had to delist. Its the fact that Eagles weren't even willing to put them selves in the position of picking up someone who may have been able to fill an immediate hole in the team, instead electing to hold the spot for a 33 year on the brink of...
Eagles will somehow blow it like they did this year by moving a player to the LTI AFTER the MSD.... Was shocked that they didnt explore a second pick with the Natanui situation. Suggests to me that they priortised trying to maybe get him one last farewell game instead of rebuilding our team.
Just saw this article from AFL.COM.AU.

Who do (can we) take next year assuming bottom 3 finish?
Interesting (expected) that no WA prospects listed in the top 10.
