I'd just hate to see him go for a couple of picks, especially considering I thought his contract was heavily front-ended (could be wrong). Seems all a little bit duplicitious for mine if true, i'll give him the benefit of the doubt until I hear something from his mouth though, he deserves that.
Liked:
- Fages and the boys getting around Cam Rayner after his missed goal and Cam addressing the players meeting on the Monday.
- The close games over the weekend #thegameisbroken
Learnt:
- Sydney always win when I expect them not too.
- GWS (if they can stop getting injured) might just be...
Great preview Fatcat.
Howe will be a big inclusion for them, I thought I read somewhere that he didn't train however so will be interesting to see how that plays out.
That's what i'm enjoying the most this year, just riding games, being way more emotional than I have in recent years because we so often rally and have the chance of taking the chocolates late. You throw that in with the improvement in our kids and I can't remember having this much fun as a...
I'd say besides big telescopic Cox and WHE there isn't a great deal of height in that Collingwood forward line. Hopefully that plays into our hands for the game with Darcy, Walks and Harris all firing. Injuries have stretched the pies down back too which i'm hoping Hippy and McStay can take...
Hey dlanod, did you end up doing a 2017 Lions AFL Fantasy results post? I'm pretty sure I won league 2 and was wondering if I get one of those spiffy badges. Cheers mate.
Hi mate,
I appreciate you getting back to me so promptly. I'd like to firstly mention that obviously i'm only giving my own opinion but i've had a number of my friends comment as well on the merchandise. My main problem is the design, I feel some of the problem is that maroon, blue and gold...
My apologies if this has been covered, but my biggest bugbear with the club over the years has been the extremely poor merchandise. I have to actively tell people not to get me merchandise for Birthdays/Xmas etc. when all I want to do is sink my hard earned into the club. I'd be interested to...
After riding the games pretty hard for the first 3 weeks I was pretty deflated by the performance put in last weekend. No excuses though, I just think the brand of footy we're trying to institute and was witnessed in the first 3 rounds is pretty taxing physically on a young side and Richmond are...
Hi guys,
I've been in a dynasty draft league (UF) for the last couple of years but am keen to get back into AFL fantasy this year. Subsequently, I don't have last years rating but have always been pretty competitive, top 300000 or so.
It was good to see the Crows backing themselves to play their running, rebounding game rather than trying to play a negating role on the Hawks. Obviously this led to some pretty quick transitions both ways but some seriously entertaining footy to watch. Adelaide are definitely up there this...
If I see a 4 quarter effort from the boys, lots of defensive tackling pressure and an adherence to our running game, then I'll walk away happy with the result. To show my support I will be putting up 10 Australian dollars on the boys to get over the line. Carn Lions!
I'd personally like to see Bewick on the wing like he played towards the end of last year, I don't see a lot of positives for this week, but at least we have a chance to get a look at some of the future and great to see Pearce back playing (in whatever capacity).
Go Lions!
I for one am happy without Ryder, some good strides taken by Freeman and Close and with Leuey, Martin and West it would seem there is a lot of potential in our forwards. I'd be happier targeting a non-rucking power forward, not that there are too many around.
Big fan of the way Mayes is conducting himself, brought him in for Mitchell, Docherty might be a downgrade option to but pretty happy with the side i'm building. After persevering with Hanley last year and being pretty happy with how he performed, massively regretting not bringing him in for...
Maybe you're right 3KZ, I couldn't see too many positives from most in the Norf game. However IMHO I think his effort, for the most part of the season thus far has been right up there, perhaps the Norf game being the exception, though I thought he did well.
I'm not completely blameless here...
I'll be doing the same with Pendles me thinks, only about 6 players that are different in my main league matchup so Rocky may be the difference yet, if thinks are tight.
Fair enough, i've watched Redden pretty closely this year and I think the one thing he doesn't lack is effort. He is constantly trying to win the hard ball and time and time again I see him throwing himself around the pack or wherever the ball is contested. Ideally, like yourself, i'd like to...
I think that might be a little harsh on Redden, he's 4th in the competition for tackles, averaging 7.7 a game and half of his possessions are contested, that hardly seems an accurate reflection of someone who is damn lazy.
I went to a similar event a couple of years ago and they've really stepped it up. The kids were well spoilt for choice
With things to do and see. Still blown away by how generous some of the boys
Were with their time and how down to earth they were.
