How good was that. Outstanding 4 qu performance.
Kudos to the whole team, especially
Sammy g- saved his career and effected the end of Moore's
Ah chee- app great follow up game, showed your going to be a 200 game player.
Welcome back Jonas and monfries to their 2014 form.
Pittard showed how...
Thoroughly enjoyed yesterday's game. Love the physicality and the niggle pity that ump no5 ruined someof it
Loved archees work sam gray followed up from the last 2 weeks, welcome back 2014 versions of Jonas and monfries, great courage by mitchell in 1st qu, trengrove back to his agressive play...
To me it's not about his body shape or his speed it's the fact he's a shit footballer, who panics when he gets the ball and can't hit a target with either hand or foot. Don't think any level of fitness will solve his lack of footy skills.
West Coast losing is a good thing as it will mean they will be fair dinkum when they come to play the crows, rather than potentially sending half a side over.
For me, I think cats will pip the crows for the 8 by winning the last game.
Damn you Richmond for last week.
Saw clive at the last home game still looks in good nick
Not sure if anyone watched the 7 news about the job layoffs in the mines a few days ago, could have sworn they interviewed marty leslie at the airport. anyone know if he works in the mines?
Yeah.. Nah
No its nothing like that at all.
it's an opinion I have formed from watching both players, neither have done anything outstanding IMO that warrants the amount of hope shown on this forum.
Got a Great skill set...the knock on him would be his pace, but on skills alone he has 1/4 of our squad covered.
I reckon he is worth a go as a rookie.
Delistings should be easy. I just hope Ken can pull the trigger on them as he has persisted and persisted with them despite poor performances.
For what its worth Id delist:
Moore - the worst top 10 pick in our history.. not sure what they saw in him, his brother was a dud so not sure what they...
On the basis ive seen them play plenty of SANFL and they aren't AFL standard. Even with AFL standard fitness they don't, cant and wont dominate SANFL footy so they have no chance in AFL.
We need to absolutely nail this draft.. Almost our most important draft as I cant see any young player at the maggies that is exciting, that jumps out at you, that genuinely looks like they will play 150+ games
Surely he plays this week, surely he is a much better footballer than a couple we have running around, at least when he gets the ball it ends up with a port player. He's courageous and that covers a few more of the players who are getting games.
The doctor is spot on.
They have returned to the lazy play back in the primus era, only concerned for their own opponent and their own game. In 2013 they played for each other they helped out they ran forward and back, now its all to hard.
I feel like we are falling into the trap of hoping they will be good, whilst realising deep down neither will be much good. These 2 remind me of toby thurstans (albeit for 1 great grand final), damon white, the big dud from north Adelaide and basically every big forward we have recruited save...
Ill go for the following changes:
Stop acting like rock-stars,
do away with fire displays and fire works as we enter the oval,
delist blokes that aren't up to it, we all know who they are.
make tough calls on other players,
bring the footies out early in pre-season,
spent many hours on skills...
I hope he has wargreymon90,
I hope he peeled the paint of the changerooms and I hope he peels the paint of the walls when completing the review and I hope its bring ya mouthguard to training this week as well.
IMO neither of Shaw or Harvey are up to it. Kenny knows this as well. Harvey is a slow plodder and Shaw is a little on the soft side and injury prone.
They are behind butcher in talent and that's saying something
This game was reminiscent of the primus era. Players being selfish, lazy and playing for themselves, save for maybe Boak, Clurey, Wingard and Gray.
I know all sorts of excuses are used from overcooked, to got ahead of themselves. But where was there pride in performance, they gave up and...
Its the first time that he has really showed some emotion, but I wanted him to rip into the players. Name names, out the down hill skiers, out the selfish lazy players.
Then this week I want him to drop all of the above. But unfortunately we have zip in the SANFL.
Long time reader, and enjoyed reading the banter
thought id add a few points regarding Lobbe
Each centre bounce this year we are 1 player down in the centre. Lobbe has added nothing this year, he goes up and down on the one spot and that's it.
At every boundary throw he gives up front spot...
Re: Primus - is the gloss wearing off already
I originally was against appointing primus, but i can see what he is trying to achieve.
He is trying to get rid of the gold passes the dead wood who have clogged our team for the last 5 years.
To change a rubbish game plan that we have played...
Need to play butcher as soon as possible and see if he is any good. if not get rid of him, we cant hang on too long if he is no good. From what ive seen in the SANFL he isnt up to it, not sure hif he has ever racked up more than 10 possies in any game.
No great loss, after his performances this year.. almost laughable that he thinks he can hold the club to ransom..
adios i say..enjoy your box hill premiership
