I know its early but it's a bit slight concern seeing the lack of moves/Victory links to out of contract players while City/Macarthur are chasing young talent. Appreciate there's the wage cut overhang, but shades of last season where we left all our business late.

Look at his recent record. His sides burn out consistently with club football. He might get half or even the majority of a season with strong results, but he plays at such a high tempo that no team can sustain it over an extended period of time. Marseille's season was the exact example of this...

Heard anything on Armstrong from the NUFC side? I suspect Blackburn would be keen on a loan/permanent deal.

From BvM's comments we'll be looking to snag a goal on the counter. I suspect he'll also look to use the width of Leckie/Kruse/Behich/Risdon given the way we set up in friendlies.

Most clubs in the Championship are loss-making and rely on their owners to absorb them in order to compete. Says a lot about how the league operates. Parachute payments have also distorted things.
