As Yeoy's sponsor for this year, his performance this season has been spectacular. How good has it been to see peak Yeo bursting out of packs, breaking tackles and driving the ball long into the 50. Fantastic to see him getting to 200 games.
Was bloody delighted to see Yeo cracking in there. He had a great game. Green shoots all over the ground with Chesser, Reid, Ginbey all showing something. We are giving it a go.
Ill take the man, the myth, the gun that is... Elliot Yeo.
I am praying for a good run without injury this year. Shame it hasnt started that well. He took this hit like a champ tho.
An up and about Yeo could be massive in the back half for us. KERRPOW over to you.
Does anyone rate Beau Wardman at all? I was impressed with Subi's midfield against Claremont today - they monstered Bolton and Rogers. Well coached to beat Claremont today. The margin would've been massive if not for Subi's inaccuracy.
Wardman's record with Subi is pretty good.
Burgiel looked good in the limited exposure that we got this year. I hope he can get his hamstrings right - Petruccelle is another who seems to have gotten over his hamstring issues.
Thanks for the memories Nic. Stood up in some big moments and was a truly dynamic and unique player. Its a shame we didnt see him play one last time. Champion.
My concern is around depth. If we pick Reid then what happens if he gets injured? I would prefer to have 3 first rounders - the depth there across the squad is more considerable and we dont become dependent on one player. I dont think we have the luxury to do that considering how badly the list...
I have had Achilles Tendinopathy on both sides, at the insertion point into the heel. Its one of the hardest to treat and its taken me years to work through. I play a bit of sport, and run and cross train to keep fit. I hurt my right one in 2013, and it took me til 2020 to work through the pain...
As his sponsor, I was pretty happy with what I saw from last week. Now he gets injured, and crickets from the Eagles S&C staff about it? Disappointing.
I thought the WAFL highlights from last round showed a little of what Chesser can bring to the side in the future.
He tried to take the game on and I hope he can get an extended run at it. It will build his confidence a lot in his body and that might bring his game on too.
Would love to get Hansen Jr, but Freo will be all over him. Its a shame because they still need KPPs so they should pick Buller and let us take Hansen Jr.
Liked Teal's game too - looks a neat midfielder that can win his own ball with good skills.
From a drafting strategy viewpoint, do we take...
Watching that VFL game from Maric, he reminded me a bit of James Sicily when he was being played forward. At 193cm, unless he grows a bit more (if that is considered likely), he wont be able to play as a KPF at AFL level against FBs and CHBs who are creeping up to 200cms.
I wasn't impressed...
