When have we ever been at full strength? I think Treloar and Elliott give us plenty of bite, but again there's just bern no continuity. Adams is also not slow. Agree the lack of genuine KPFs is a black hole. Don't see too much wrong with defense, and have Kelly and Ruscoe in wings.
I think you need to consider the extent of our losses to our best 22 this year ... other than North, no club has been hit harder, and that's a fact. Other clubs have missed players here and there, but nothing like this. You take the 6 best players out of any team for an extended period and you...
The decision to recruit Noble deserves some credit ... so much crap about Garlett for Richmond, but if you've seen him play this year, he's vastly underwhelming. I think I could've had 28 touches and kicked a goal in that Grand Final farce last year. Noble is a smart, fast and skilled player who...
The thing I loved, not sure if anyone else noticed, Carlton came out laughing and joking after half time, all in a very merry mood, a la Richmond. I was actually a bit concerned but couldn't be happier how it all panned out. They know we're coming ... we were waiting, Scum.
Apologies to Bucks for all I have said over the years.
Apologies to Blair.
I freaking love Adam Treloar and Grundy. I love this club.
Just watched the first half of last year's prelim and now I cannot wait for finals. Go you mighty Pies, stick it up em.
Word from people close to the Moore family is that he is signed, sealed and delivered going to Swans.
Apparently his partner lives in Sydney and he is moving up so they can be together.
It's a real shame and leaves us sorely depleted for KPP stocks. We need to throw kitchen sink at McGovern...
Knightmare,
I was just wondering your thoughts on Jordan de Goey at present? I know you were very bullish about him last year, but he has certainly had issues in 2016. Do you see this as a natural case of second year blues that he will come through, or have you had to re assess your opinion of him?
The season is over for us. We all know what White is. To put Moore in the twos would be a foolish decision. Time to look to the future, not hope a never-will-be will come good.
Disappointing. But the mediocrity at Seaford is probably a perfect fit for him then. Only wish we could salvage something decent in terms of compensation, but that's probably too much to ask now.
Worrying that there might not be an opening is an extraordinary attitude from a top 10 draft pick. How about work your ass off to force your way into the team, mate?
