ONE HD is only available on Foxtel to those with a cable connection. Those who receive it via satelite will not have it.
As for whether it is free for a limited time or forever .. it will always be free of charge as part of the new broadcast agreement allowing free to air commercial networks...
And how the fu*k would you know what they are getting paid?
It amazes me that people pull figures out there ar$e on here and it gets taken as gospel.
Unless you have been buried in the eagles books, you wouldn't have a clue LeftFoot.
I seriously doubt the club pays anywhere near what people...
Re: Official GVFL Thread (part 2)
He's been over there since the end of last season, which is why he's not playing at Mansfield.
Also interesting to note, they haven't yet mastered the use of full stops over in the UAE. That's one very long opening sentence.
Re: Official GVFL Thread (part 2)
The weekender has cost about $2 during the home and away season for as long as i can remember, so i guess the GV are just following the lead of the AFL in jacking it up for the finals
Re: Official GVFL Thread (part 2)
Too funny - gee names can be deceptive.
Teo is a fair skin red head.
It's like that episode of Seinfield where they take advice of Donna Chang cause they think she's a wise asian lady

With the depth of young talent at the Blues, their next flag assault will come in the next 2-3 years. Fev WILL be there. He'll be in his twilight, but he'll be there. I think Carlton will come on very quick in the next couple of season, a little like the Hawks are now.
We used to have it in the Goulburn Valley league, but nobody really gave a crap.
Don't mind the idea for home and away only with dollars involved - might stop the bottom sides from tanking so much, if they have something to play for. After all Melbourne would be weighing up $$$$ vs No.1 draft...

Re: Official GVFL Thread (part 2)
No current player on Mansfield's list has played a senior AFL game.
Brad Campbell played 1 game for Melbourne in 1994, while Blake played 11 games for Carlton, (8 in 2002 and 3 in 2003), for just 1 win. A one point victory over the Tigers
Yeah i'm bored...
Re: Official GVFL Thread (part 2)
Not only will Brad McEwan be there to host it, but he will be doing a feature story on Tank and the Rochester club for Sports Tonight
Re: Tansperancy
I challenge all local journos all of whom I respect very much to get on the front foot, bring it out into the open and get the answers. (There in cohorts)
As a former member of the Tasmanian Media and a keen observer from afar these days, I can tell you the journos and AFL...
Re: Official GVFL Thread (part 2)
Cios comes from great footballing pedigree given he's my cousin. :) (except he is actually a decent footballer)
Usually plays twos, been at Mansfield his whole life and played probably 50 odd senior games.

Re: Official GVFL thread
My word out of Rochy is that Tank will miss a month,
If true that'd be the longest stint on the sidelines in his near 400 game career.
The blessing in disguise though would be that he could then play his 400th on home soil.
Re: Official GVFL thread
Mansfield over Benalla - 24 points
Rochy over Shepp - 40 points
Seymour over Euroa - 70 points
Swans over Ky - 30 points
Mooroopna over Tat - by a margin that's not good for football
Re: Official GVFL thread
What's with all the whinging about the price?
I am happy to post stuff out the paper, but fair dinkum, it's not that much to get what is a pretty comprehensive footy coverage. If you were getting the hard copy you would have to pay and $1.10 is, in this day and age...

Re: Official GVFL thread
Steve Daniels did it 2005 and 2006.
I think Richard Warburton is coaching isn't he? or did he step down when he got the Bears job.
Also In regards to TANK, pretty disappointing that he'll have to play his 400th game against Mooroopna at Mooroopna.
Would have...
Re: Official GVFL thread
Granted both the Hottons are going to be big losses, but we have recruited a couple of quality players and are also getting some locals back who have been overseas or interstate. Ben Fagan, who we picked up from Tassie Devils, is no Trent Hotton, but he's a very...
