    hirds career could be over

All they were saying (Dr Peter Larkins) was that with his age - a calf muscle injury could take longer. He suggested to look at James Clements calf - ha has been out for 8 weeks already with it. If Hirdy's calf is 8 weeks - then effectively that means the season!!!

    Andrew Lovett

I Can tell you that he been instructed to be aware of heavy contact as has Courtenay Dempsey. Cant say that I agree, but put simply they want Dempsey, Lovett to be the outside ball carriers with pace (inc Jetta) and to be wary of injury because of their natural frame and body mass. They want the...

Just posted in another thread - Stanton definitely passed the fitness test for pace, agility, straight line, switching, jumping and side to side. Good acting by Stants!

Can confirm that Stants definitely passed the fitness test: Agility, Straight line, turns, jumps and side to side switches..... Seems he must moonlight in Neighbours as his acting is obviously very good.!!

    Malthouse

This year he seems to have really hit the nail on the head with the balance between ability and TEAMWORK. On paper, his team is not the best, but like the two years they played in a GF, they played WELL IN ADVANCE of their capabilities. They are doing the same this year and he has been able to...

    GUN Players in opposition teams

The point of my post from the start: The intersesting point that is that in almost all of the replies across all of the opposition teams, at least 75% were on-ballers (i.e Midfielders or ruckmen). In most of the Elite 4 player nominations I have heard or seen for Ess: (Lucas, LLoyd, Fletcher...

    In's and Outs V's Melbourne

Ant - do you know who Dyson, Hislop, Jetta etc played on.....?? I would say Jetta's fitness levels would be down - I saw him during the week at the Maribyrnong River (the team was doing some fitness work down teir with Quinnky) and he was behind in the running work (distance based)

    Rookie Promotions???

BUT - Rama may be the tonic we need...our form is not that great after a break and the Demons will have had a new a**hole torn in them this week. I have a feeling that Sheedy will be up to his old tricks and I think Rama would be a great inclusion to give us a shot in the arm of passion that we...
