you cant judge their season to be based on one loss. Sydney are a good team anyway. Geelong won the premiership last year and also lost to essendon that year, they still deserved top 4 and the premiership they earnt.

It's a hard question to answer as Hurley's been spending a lot of time down back and we've only seen a mere 10 games or so from either of them. At this stage I'd probably say Hurley but Gumbleton looks like he's starting to find something.

Finals. quite simply, do you think essendon will make finals this year? imho, i think it'd be better for the playing group if we finish 9-10th this year. Because we'll be a slightly better side next year and that'll make us even hungrier for finals. :thumbsu:

Well, if you'd actually been watching what he's done with those disposals you'd think otherwise. the last 3-4 weeks ive seen him, he makes all the wrong decisions and just can't hit the targets. not up to AFL standard yet.
