List Mgmt. Trade & F.A. 2017 (if a scenario sounds wrong - read on before posting)

What you choose to believe doesn't concern me all that much. I guess we can revisit this in October.

I have some news to share: Adam Tomlinson is coming to the pies. Done Deal

List Mgmt. Rookie Draft Monday 28 Nov @ 4pm (We can take up to 4 rookies)

Looks like Sproule will join GWS as an academy pre selection. Mitch McCarthy and one of Sam Walker or Kym LeBois would be nice

    Delisted free agents

Henderson officially delisted by the Crows

So realistically.... Who can slide to pick 28?

I think they have 11. So many sides after that selection that could take him as well. Adelaide, Port, Geelong, the dogs and Richmond. Fingers crossed a slider makes it to 28. Even an early 20s selection would have saved a few fingernails but I'm looking forward to it none the less.

So realistically.... Who can slide to pick 28?

Griffin Logue if players like Battle, Marshall, Powell-Pepper have all been selected -obviously highly likely, however Tim Membrey slid to a pick in the mid 40's in his draft year and was rated much higher than that pre draft. I was shocked that Collingwood didn't select him with pick 38 that...

List Mgmt. FA & trade wash up, what list spots & draft picks do we have?

Agree. He will probably just flip switch one day. We paid pick 14 in 2007 for Cameron Wood and missed Judd. That was another shocking trade period. I think Hine has what it takes to recruit young talent, but doesn't posses the ruthlessness required for the trade table. Im envious of what Carlton...

List Mgmt. Marsh going home for personal reasons

Decent loss. The guy can play. Hoping for adequate remuneration.

30 years. What does it matter.

Player Watch Chris Mayne (Retired 2021)

Disappointed in half the muppets commenting in this thread. How about we watch him do his thing in the jumper before we go and bash him. This is the sort of shit carlton supporters do and then jump back on when he shows something. He's going to give his all, lets give him a chance, if it doesn't...

Recommitted Jesse hogan puts contracts talks on hold... [re-signed until end of 2019]

Staying 100%. Enjoy him for 3 more years, then he'll go and spray them in the West.

List Mgmt. Pie Time's trade and draft whispers

Forget Dal Santo, waste of space, time and money. He will be at GWS next season anyway.

List Mgmt. Pie Time's trade and draft whispers

Wells is a done deal. Pretty confident with the source. Apparently walked out on North Melbourne over the weekend. He's 32 in Feb.

    Prediction 2016 player numbers

2 - Jordan De Goey 7 - James Aish 14 - Adam Treloar 38 - Jeremy Howe Maynard should stick with the 37, suites him to a tee I reckon. Also wouldn't mind seeing the back of the 35 tradition. Treloar would take it for good if it was available.

    Best 22 - 2016

Greenwood is no longer best 22 IMO. He's stressing about it right now. I'd play Pendlebury, Swan, Adams, Treloar, Sidebottom Crisp, De Goey, Aish and Broomhead before i play him. Quality back up inside MID now is the way I see it. He'll get games, but not week in week out. Not enough strings...

    GARRY GIASOUMI NOT AISH

I Agree. His manager Richard Reed came out and said that he will be worth 2 first rounders. His brother is also pretty good at running the water, so is Hana Bengue
  17. ccd23

Traded Adam Treloar [traded w/ #28 to Collingwood for #7, #65, 2016 first rounder]

Tomlinson was pick number 9 in his Draft.. I believe they are talking about him rather than pick 9 in the draft

List Mgmt. Treloar officially nominates Pies as his pref club (Mods: please use this thread for all AT posts)

Lol nah. That is a real simple statement. They may want Witts as well as pick 7 for AT and the pies are saying well we want Hampton involved also. I don't know the intricate details of their dealings but it's not 'basically' that at all.

Believe what you want to believe. I'm not getting on here to spit out garbage. I was told be somebody who is reliable enough for me to log in on Friday night to share with fellow supporters. Still, plenty could change from now until then I guess.

It would be a good bit of business. Don't think its too far off a fair trade to be honest. Witts is pretty valuable, especially at his age. He said that Aish is staying put.

List Mgmt. Treloar officially nominates Pies as his pref club (Mods: please use this thread for all AT posts)

I was told tonight by an extremely reliable source that this is exactly what it will be. Jumped on here to post it and saw this post. Pies will be pretty happy with it id imagine. I like Hampton, will be interesting to see what he can add to the Pies.

Autopsy 10 greatest unfilled talents at CFC

Not sure who else could see it but he had a bit of Patty D about him. He's one that still gets to me. Wish the rig held up.

    Adam Treloar

I love that others can see this too. Fyfe-like for sure. Good stuff
  24. ccd23

Who do we take with pick 5? CLOSING SOON please move discussion to new thread

Disagree. He should definitely remain in the forward line. He is the epitome of a specialist forward. Like Didak and Stevie J, he will eventually play majority midfield, no need to rush something like that. Let him kick plenty more goals, top our goal kicking, get some more hang-time. It will...
  25. ccd23

    Elliott's midfield ambition

Elliott is exactly the type of player you need in the forward line. He is that dangerous type that should be left forward, similar to a Didak, LeCras, Wingard, Monfries etc. who consistently slam goals on the board. If midfield is what both he and the club want, then I think he should follow a...

Toast Welcome to Collingwood - Taylor Adams

Me, plenty of times. I'm more interested in watching GWS and the Gold Coast then I am in watching some of the existing teams. Im sure there are plenty of others out there.

Rumour Tony Armstrong to Collingwood - likely in PSD

I don't see the harm in this. Why not give a guy with high end foot skills a shot? He will cost us nothing. If it flops, it flops. Big deal. Worst case scenario he is depth for 2 years. I'm more than happy to give the guy a go.

Toast Welcome to Collingwood - Taylor Adams

Not sure about this one. Collingwood aren't dumb enough to trade a guy like Witts without playing him at all. They wont get rid of him anyway and if they do, it wont be for at years. They will want to be 100% sure that he isn't up to it. They wouldn't want him to go to another club and then flip...
