    Toast Round 1 = Geelong 103-125 Collingwood

Hi all, Come in peace. Blistering by you lot last night. Daicos out of the back line with those ridiculous targets he was hitting is what set it up in my opinion. That and RUNNING. Question, it's on the tip of my tongue, but who is your runner? Annoys me how much they show the coaches on the...

Forgive me. Been a looong time between posts, but I'm watching some weird practice match type thing and I see #31 who I thought was Fritsch. Did he give the number up?

    General MFC Discussion 2.0

So Col Garland just kicked a bag for the North Hobart demons against 4th placed Launceston. 2nd win for the season and off the bottom of the ladder for the first time this season. Giddy up

    Injury Injury List

Will update the spreadsheet when i can be arsed but main two will be: Melksham = 2-3 weeks. That marks 10 weeks injured after being listed as 4 initially. He's officially improved. See below, finally someone outside of the club has noticed this. Joel 'Lawyer Up' Smith = Season. That marks a...

    Injury Injury List

I'll update the spreadsheet when I get a chance. Off the top of my head, I remember Melksham was only meant to be out for 4 weeks initially. Pretty sure that was at least 6 weeks ago now. Standard though

    Injury Injury List

May My 'favourite' is the 3-week 'TBC' period in the middle there on AVB's one. Before the 3-week period where they didn't know wtf was going on, it was 4-5. After the 3-week period where they didn't know wtf was going on, it was 4-6. Delicious.

    Preview Changes vs West Coast

Yep. This is what I reckon. Just pick fit players and see what we have up our sleeve for when (if) we get the more established players back. We have already found that Hore and Lockhart don't look out of place (probably even better than that in the case of Hore. We as a club are absolutely...

Review Dees v the Aureus Coast: the Good, the Bad & the Fugly

Good: giving Hunt a decent run of games like I wanted. He's been important for us. Also, just looking at the game again, we really deserved to win that game. The only part of the game we weren't great at was conversion. That was a problem last year too for most of the year. We won almost all...

    Preview Changes vs West Coast

Without Melksham I don't really think it matters. He is just so far our most important player at the moment imo. He and Oliver. We lose either of those players and we'd really struggle. Just pick fit players. Don't send injured players back out. Don't pick injured players. I don't care what...

    Hi there. Am indeed a bloke and you're right, I do love this. It's what we call a 'reverse improvement' to use a Billy Birmingham quote. Player April 9 April 16 April 29 May 1 May 7 Hannan 6-8 (was 6-12 March 20) 6 4-6 3-4 2-3 JKH 10-12 8-10 8 3-4 3 Lever...

Review Dees v Richmond: the Good, Bad, Fugly and very Fugly

I'm not really saying injury has cruelled him though. The injury part of my argument more relates to what i was saying about supporters being upset with the club and the way we've gone about things. I was saying that I thought it was a risk relying on him and Weid up forward, when TMac had a...

Review Dees v Richmond: the Good, Bad, Fugly and very Fugly

That's a fair point. The rest of the side is going terrible and that definitely contributes to our forward line troubles. I haven't written anyone off. I've said I think TMac is better down back and Weid is still developing. That's literally what I've said. Stop flying off the handle

Review Dees v Richmond: the Good, Bad, Fugly and very Fugly

Either way then. If he isn't injured, his form as a forward this year has been absolutely terrible. Even simpler. I still don't understand why it can't be both though. He's hampered and (IMO) a better defender. You disagree. And that's fine.

Review Dees v Richmond: the Good, Bad, Fugly and very Fugly

I'm not sure how many times I can say it? I think he's clearly hampered by his injury and I think he's better down back. You think he isn't injured and is a better forward than anyone else we've got.

Review Dees v Richmond: the Good, Bad, Fugly and very Fugly

Why would we have lost Weid at the end of the year if he couldn't get a game for us? Would it have been a big loss if he still couldn't get a game for us?

Didn't he play down back against Richmond? How's he going as a forward this year?
