Congratulations to a great Old Boy Irish BlueBagger on getting to play his 50th game as Ruck Rover this Sunday against the Swamprats. Irish joined the Old Boys and the SFA Season 36 and has taken to it like a duck to water getting involved in match threads and always present helping smash the opposition. In his four seasons Irish has won the OOBs best rookie award for his first season and also won a premierships S37!

Well done Irish BlueBagger on 50 games.

Great to see the Old Boy fans turning up at the Viper Pit Open Training session this morning and having the opportunity to mix with some of the newer players as well as grabbing a signature from their favorite Old Boys.

This was a great round for us against the Swamprats, unfortunately the sim did not agree with the clear match thread winners. Better luck next time.

Most of the Rats were plenty of fun, never mind a couple of Derailing attempts. We clearly controlled the flow. Couldn't be happier that we had 19 folks post, and check out our rookie participation (thanks sabso and The_Kraken!).

Round of applause for our handsome Yapper Pugsley!

Got the Delons next up, they are always good for a fun romp in the trenches.

Might be worth checking thewizardmelon ‘s line for the average, I was going to call myself a top 7 poster for us until I checked his contributions. Now I’m down with the plebs in 8th lol.

8/24 certainly isn’t pleb category. You are great fun Sabs, having The_Kraken alongside you to bounce off is also so helpful. I went at it alone in a very quiet team when I was a rookie, so you guys truly have a great start here

sabso just remember not to get caught up about posting numbers/stats, at the end of the day its about how you engage and what your comfortable spot for posting is. If you start trying to post a certain number or keep up with the prolific posters you will lose the fun of the place and drop out like many rookies before you have. Just keep doing what you and The_Kraken are doing, get in amongst it when you want and just have fun, keep doing that and you will both have long successful qooty careers.

Being selected is not about who posted the most or who got the highest DT, there are plenty of awards for that. Player of the Week will be awarded to recognize the player who has stepped up in some way either on or off the qooty field, someone who has exceeded beyond their norm, someone who has demonstrated behaviors that reinforce why the Old Boys are the best in the SFA.

Round 1 the OOBs Player of the Week goes to King Tenz

King Tenz had a harrowing season 38 with soft tissue injury's which saw him in the rehab group most of the season resulting in only 10 match thread appearances with an average of only 1.75 posts for the season. King Tenz has dug deep and really put in during the pre-season to ensure he makes it back into the main group. The Old Boys first match thread against the Rats saw all the effort KT has put in rewarded with a remarkable come back resulting in 98 posts with engagement over the whole week. Its great to see a good poster who has been missing return and show they haven't lost the passion to play qooty and be part of this mad house, for that King Tenz gets Player of the Week
