I think we have already exceeded expectations as a fledgling new team with a "frankenstein" reputation, through notching up 3 wins from a max total 13 H&A rounds, at a rate currently of 50% wins v losses. Generally a new club built from the ground up are pretty shaky for the first 2 or 3 seasons.

This week we finally have our first home game in almost a month

Results have been very ordinary in September with only 1 win but as DockerDen has stated in
his run home thread we are likely to finish in The Top 10 but with 3 home games in the
final 5 rounds the key is to win our remaining home games and the Top 10 will change to a Top 8
very quickly !!

The spray worked, OOB lead at every change and a brilliant 4 quarter performace
Special mention to Nunez scoring a and Wickzki scoring -6



Nunez secures the very first donut at the OOB and has been hard at work ever since
Exciting times ahead when Spotswood launch it's very own Bakery in 2023

Disappointing result another game where up at 3/4 time but not getting the job done
Brilliant game by Bonz with a big bag of 8 but needed some of the forwards to do something



Grand Uncle Horace returned to Big Footy just for our Match and that in itself makes up for the result (sort of)

The great man recently played his 150th as an away game, however whilst he was
dragging his feet the last 2 weeks not knowing what was going on the LG was working
on a nice surprise for his 152nd match at home

This morning I took U2tigers for a walk around the back of Spotswood where there has
been alot of construction whilst we have been on our road trip and gave Bono the most exciting news

The Brewery is now complete at Spotswood, well almost they might need another hr or so in the beer garden

So much work went in during the Bye week and our Captain was there from dawn to dusk lending a hand, mind you
I don't think he ever had an empty glass




What a privilege to walk around with Bono to check it all out before anyone else

Typical Bono in the middle of a grand tour just before opening he wants to practice his putting

Enjoy the first pour, you've earned it

One more polish and it will be ready to open to the Spotswood locals and GOLD and SILVER members



They really have a done a brilliant job and to be ready for our 1st match at home in over an month and
for Bono's Friday night 152nd milestone bash is just so exciting

Not only will they be the new Brewery out of Spotswood but they will also be sponsoring
a Club Award which sums up Bono not only in our Club but across the whole league.

The inaugural sponsor of the Players Player Award will be ;
