Hahaha if the guy had any confidence in George he would have kicked it to him. Instead he kicked it to Jack in a more difficult situation and only Jack’s class he was able to hold a tough contested mark.

You either didn’t see it or just being a dick. Jack took it in front of his eyes 40m out directly in front.

p.s. I know I’m on the right track when you pile on late.

…He could’ve been dropped 2 years ago, 1 year ago, 3 years ago for the same reasons.
He’s not playing much differently now than he always has…..

No one seems to remember it, but he has been dropped before. Rd 21 2021. He was the unused sub and didn’t play Rd 22 either.

From Fox Sports:

“Tigers coach Damien Hardwick has swung the axe with Ryan Garthwaite, Jack Ross, Jason Castagna, Mabior Chol, Jake Aarts and Josh Caddy all omitted. The Kangaroos regain talented duo Tarryn Thomas and Cam Zurhaar.”

No chance he survives. Has anyone in the history of the sport played the following week after playing one of the all time stinkers?

Can’t think of a worse game TBH.

YES
Castagna about 40 times.

FWIW: They'll drop him and make him the sub and someone will go down in minute three and all of a sudden we are two down.

I saw it. But yeah, you know, so what.

So what?
Crikey.
I’m just trying to give an example that might help explain why he’s in.
It’s like the other side of kicks and handballs. What’s not on the stat sheet is clearly what has kept him in.
So what? Mate, cmon, do better.

Would you actually be satisfied with any reason dimma gave for him being picked every week? I wouldn’t because there can’t be a good reason.

It was only perhaps a few weeks ago he had a similar half, but then had a very good 2nd half. Last game though he just had a whole game where he had zero impact.
Yes he ran dummy leads, and was in his spot in the defensive zone, and did some chasing, but as far as what he normally does on top of that, he failed miserably.

As I said a few weeks ago in this thread, I agree it would be great to get Dimma's explanation with footage and examples, not just the usual throw away 'he plays his role'.

I will be gobsmacked if he's named this week though!

Can’t be a good reason?
If that’s your view I can see why it’s doing your head in.
Open your mind mate. There are possibilities out there you’ve never even thought of.

Ones even you can't fathom for the rest of us. (in the 90%). But they must be true hey.. Just because you think it. The club gets everything 100% right.

Welcome to the new reality which others can't explain or communicate but insist you understand. Sheeeeeeesh.

RUBBISH AS THE KICK NEEDED TO BE BANG ON TARGET AND IT WAS A HIGHER RISK THAN GIVING IT OFF TO GEORGE.
Anyhow what George did was anything any run of the mill player was expected to do and nothing of great heights. It was a basic bare minimum requirement of a small forward . Unfortunately for him it must have exhausted him so much that he was only able to touch the ball twice for the whole game. Now stop being a nob and just admit he's been stealing Oxygen for 1.5 seasons now rather than defending a list clogger bc your mate picks him every week..
