OK, I've removed about three pages of posts.

Please do not use this thread to speculate about Oliver's private life – medical or otherwise.

Regardless of the veracity of your rumour, or what you know/have heard, if it's not public knowledge, just don't post it.

I don't want to turn this place into Demonland, but if you can't see the potential harm that this sort of rumour-spreading can cause (regardless of your intentions), then perhaps it's best if you take a bit of a break.

Thanks.

Shouldn't matter what month of the year it is. They are paid full time athletes with the best resources behind them.

Joel Selwood would have never looked badly out if shape in October.
Yep I totally get that. But I’m thinking he isn’t the one who has turned up in peak fitness. Even at his peak. Not saying he shouldn’t be though.

What are you on about he has way less body fat there than now
I’m saying this is a pre season pic from when Clarry was in his peak and he isn’t exactly looking like a ripped athlete. He went on to be AA in 2022.

That pic was into his training block and not on his first day back. Clarry didn’t have a PCL injury off season either.

An im saying he looks 5 kegs lighter there than now atleast

Clarry not being in peak physical condition for the start of pre-season is just an overreaction from the vocal few that don't want to see him succeed.

Cope and seethe, losers!
I’d say it’s more about people being anxious Clarry will never get back his best Boss. I get the worry, but not the way people go about it

Being in peak physical condition would help him succeed though

Maybe instead of being coddled like he has all his AFL life people calling out his weight issues might be the rocket that he needs?

He's a 28 year old million dollar player mate how could he be expected to train in his off season

If we traded him to another club like we should have 90% of the Clarry fan club would absolutely be critical at the condition hes in. The other 10% are more part of Cult Clarry than the fan club and think he can never do any wrong, they are the kind of people who would happily put their kid up for adoption so they had a spare bedroom for Clarry to stay in if he got booted out of the Gawn's again.

I bet if we traded him the new club wouldn't tolerate him showing up to pre season training outta shape and wouldn't cotton wool the campaigner if they were paying him 1.5 mil

Bloke has been more successful than 98% of AFL players running around currently in fairness, coddling is a step too far.

Who knows exactly what has happened in 23' especially, but get around the lad.

If he get's back to near his best, we're a shot in 25'.

One player does not make the team, but one player can certainly break it.

Mate, it's AFL. Everyone gets a dozen chances. Get behind the red headed campaigner. Gets anywhere near his best at the very least his trade stocks go up.
I'm hoping for him 'Oli' to refind his mojo and interest.
Because i think he wants out, and so do I... want him to find a new home, for this time next year. Hoping for a minimum of 2 x 1st Rnd picks for him.

I want us to get a host of picks for the 2025 draft... and trade period.

I want us to pickup a free agent or 2... in the 2025 trade period. So, we will need List spaces to allow this to occur.
This 2024 draft, and the 2025 draft and free-agent period, should set us up for to Vi for 10 Years of finals.
