Mackay's game last night was very good. Was always pin-pointing targets, using his run, was aggressive (both in his tackling and his contested ball winning, saw him dive into the pack a few times)

The thing is its pretty clear this was his best game since early 2015 when he had another big game.
But this is the standard we expect from him and this has been the problem and why he cops so much shit.
We know he is capable of it but he very rarely shows it.
Now for Wayne to use this game to back up his opinion, is well you know, Wayne being Wayne. A complete joke of a poster.

The thing is, Sydney will give him more attention this week and someone else less. They can't run the gauntlet and hope it was a once off.
He does have history in that outside running role. They will pay attention.
No they won't. They can't give attention to all the players that played well last night. They will also know he is inconsistent.
The running player they will put time into is Smith.

He played on and moved the ball quickly, something you don't often see from David.
I fear that this is his good night and next week he reverts to style, but credit where its due he was very good last night, even early when there was a bit in the game.

Btw, if a player play badly and a postet says they played badly - and then next week plays well and poster says they played well, that is not the same as hypocrisy.
