Winning a best and fairest isn't hype. It's a legitimate measurement of how a player performed this year, voted by the people that know the team the best.
I feel like you denigrating a best and fairest win is poor form.
I'm sorry, but I don't rate best and fairest. Taranto is the best example of why.
Absolute gun. So glad he's a Tiger and not tearing it up elsewhere. We've got a bargain with Taranto.
Our clearance ability improved with TT and hopper , we need to get the mix around them right , Bolton predominantly midfield and emerging players need to step up , Dow added some toe that was lacking and had PA on back foot in the last HA game . Pres TT and hop should never be in pivot together . Ooze has some good experience in midfield hope he can add some there

dow isnt quick, hes not slow either but he's more evasive than pacey.
Ill watch the port game again to see what you mean. I agree our midfield needs pace. Hate watching players like oliver leaving taranto/hopper in the dust. Hopper looks like hes running through cement sometimes.
His reactions are quick thru traffic , his handball quite creative and def his strength
JUst a different mix to the usual mid field group...I'm still a fan!

Needs to do more with the ball. Can’t just rush it off every time. For us to improve we need him to be composed and be creative. I’m hoping it was just a first year with new club thing and not trying to do too much. We’ll see if he’s capable of doing it next year

I think that was him adjusting to a new game plan.
I remember watching a pre-season training video, clearly on the video JR tells him to just hack kick it long to grass.
He spents months practicing it to fit into the team structure. And once you get into that habit, it' hard to change mid season.
I think new gameplan under Yze, and his decision making will improve, hence his disposal as well.
You either have it or you don't, he doesn't have it.

Something happened with Taranto after the bye. Before that he was firmly in contention for the Brownlow and having a fantastic season. He didn't drop below 27 possessions prior to the bye, yet only exceeded 27 twice after the bye.
Something was definitely not right, an injury niggle or two, maybe. Getting tired? it is a long season. Dimma having sold the dream then pissing off? Possibly. Could have been a combination of all of those factors.

14 disposals is simply not good enough. Did not run hard enough. Got spanked by Rowell. Made some really costly blunders also..

He was rubbish today. Got destroyed by the Suns midfield, didn't work hard enough and was a liability with the ball.
Would want to improve quickly for the Blues game as he must deliver more.

In fairness to him if Bolton isn’t in the midfield then he’s the one that will get the most emphasis. Just can’t start with him, Prestia and Hopper in the guts as it’s a recipe for disaster as they’re all slow and ball butchers. Still for what he cost us and is costing us he was poor today.
We really made some bad decisions in the last few off seasons.
