dafaq happened to no holidays
People from the Bayside always go to Europe for Holidays. Unlike us North of Melbourne folk who head to the Sunshine Coast or the lower class Norfy who go to the Goldie :p

more of a newcastle person personally, less insane inlaws down there than in qld

I don't have an issue with him (and I'm no talent scout) but I'm yet to see "it" with Archie. If he wants out and the Cats came sniffing with a good offer I wouldn't be upset if we let him go tbh

Hobbs just posted a story on instagram with Caldwell, Guelfi and Perkins.

Lio restaurant. Funnily enough, there is a Lio restaurant in Ibiza. Maybe a coincidence? 😉
I read it as a 4 week holiday in Europe, which suggests multiple destinations and transport to each one.

That's a lot of work to actually pull it all together even if you're going through a travel agent... and it's generally pretty expensive if you're booking it all less than 2 weeks in advance; assuming they did in fact book it after the Norf game and not months ago, which would be even more appalling given this entire 4 week period is inclusive of the R24 bye and presumably misses W1 finals, SF, PF, back in time for the grand final.

They are paid well, but if they're spending it like that, then probably too well.

Can understand why the boss is a bit pissed off if the season's not dead and they're mentally already on holiday with a couple of games to go, and if that was the case, most likely discussing it at training.

That doesn't preclude them being in Ibiza right now, but it's either at least partially inaccurate, or it's way worse than we thought and I'd rather he was meeting with Geelong.

Or it's a cheap last minute package tour that was filling seats late at discount, those faux Contiki junkety things... If you believe they arnt smart enough to figure out a complex game plan they sure arnt figuring out the Paris Metropolitan or how to book a boat to the blue grotto... Probably on a bus every day with military precision getting 15 minutes free time at Lio

Shame on me, updated.

Archie on the left, Player A top right
Archie on the left, Player B bottom right.

I am surprised by how close it is given we haven't demonstrated we can build anyone's tank and Archie missed a fair chunk of underage footy due to COVID that put him behind the 8 ball.
Really? I looked and thought player on the right was ahead in most areas while having fewer games.

Exactly 😂

How many of those go for 4 weeks? Most of the cheap crap ones are like 7 days 🤔

Life is pretty cheap when you're an AFL player, and they'd all be on 6 figures. No problems affording a Europe holiday. They're probably not staying at high end hotels or anything nuts, and if they're sharing AirBnB accommodation it's cheaper again.

Travelling Europe isn't that expensive or that complicated so long as one person in the group is reasonable at organisation.

Yeah, you'd want it organised in advance. Wait a minute...
