I like Archie but I actually dont understand it.

Surely we have players in the vfl who want to play in the 1s. Archie doesn't want to be out there so play someone who does, at least until he gets it back in the vfl.

Brad Scott is a cruel man.

It was worse than that. It was 4 clean clearances (no touch on the guy clearing it), which resulted in 4 goals.

Have a look at this one, when we're two goals up and he's on the BOG.

They've been trying to force him into a midfielder.
Square peg into a round hole.
Our forward line mix doesn't work, Stringer, Langford, Menzie & Perkins all want the exact same space.
Can barely have two of them, let alone 3.

Needs a new spot. They have tried their best to make it work as a midfielder but he is not up to it . Problem is he can not slot forward as there are already too many medium forwards with limited defensive ability.

He got hands to it first just wasnt clean in that moment.

There is still hope for him to build into a midfielder but we don’t necessarily need him to be that with Hobbs and tsatas emerging. If he does go back to the twos he still will be behind those 2 and setters in the reserve mid pecking order.

Has the attributes to play almost anywhere on the field but is vfl the best place to trial a new position or could move some magnets in the seniors.

He has done some jobs in the middle could he do some jobs down back? We need some more skill and drive from the back half and Archie at his best provides plenty of that.
