His endurance is really good ran sub, 6:30secs at the combine and his quicker than Langford but I think Harvey is more talented IQ wise.

He ran a 6:38 2km at combine vs Langford who ran a 6:25.

Both ran 720 yoyo in preseason when CTL average is apparently 560-620 or something like that.

I'm hoping he'll turn into something like what Kouta was at his prime in 97-00 for those that remember. People rave about Bont but prime Kouta was an absolute weapon. Would just cause nightmares everywhere he went with matchups, starting at CHB then moving into the square then going forward and kicking goals.

I've previously had some reservations about him but it was more in regards to if we overlooked Draper or Jagga instead of him.

It's clear to see we picked the best next available and 17 other clubs would've chosen him as well at pick 7.

With Norf's F1 & our F1 next year we can inject some serious midfielders into our list next year to compliment Smillie & Lalor just beautifully.

You see I don't understand this given he was reasonably quick in terms of sprint testing (not lightning) and as above his endurance was up there with some of the better midfield prospects.

For comparison he is both quicker and has a bigger tank than Cripps did at the same age, while also being a better kick.
I am not picking on you but you're the unlucky person whose reply I read whilst on the shitter after seeing the other replies.

Seems my post is a perfect example of how people don't read the post fully. My second sentence about him being off half back seemingly goes over the head of most who just look at the fake and unresearched criticism of his athletic attributes and respond to that.

He was on SEN today and the host asked him what he would do if Richmond offered him the number 4, he said funny that, he discussed the same thing with Lalor last night and Lalor said he wanted 4 so Josh is fine I'll take the 9 then!

And also he chatted to Yze last night who said I'll see you next Monday for training and Josh said I'll see you this Friday!

Not short of confidence the lad!

Will be interesting to see if he plays in a similar fashion to Nank, when Nank is at his best he plays like an extra mid with that massive frame, cracking into contests and winning clearances

Imagine having Smillie in the clinch but having the benefit of a ruck putting it onto his tit as well

Even his size makes him an interesting prospect to do ruck work in the F50 similar to Hawkins

No I saw that but he won’t play at half back. They’ll play Short there and Brown, and may try someone else there but doubt it’ll be Simile, more likely a Sonsie type.

He’ll play the time Hopper spends off injured which is a lot and displace blokes like Ross and Dow.

Either you're trolling me or I am losing my mind.

The original post was a joke about our history of picking players who all were put at half back.

Feel like Josh is the forgotten player of our draftees.

Three tall forwards blew everyone’s mind, trainors reaction was so genuine and exciting, Lalor is the no.1 pick and Hotton was exciting and unexpected pick.

We were expecting the Smillie pick so I think he’s lost some shine but he is the one I’m most excited to watch next year, he’ll probably be our best 1st year player and chance for rising star while being a smooth moving 196cm monster mid who is a beautiful kick.
