Okay got a quick question fantasy wise. Would Hardemen be likely to retain his spot for the next few weeks? Anyways good luck for the crows game

he's earnt his spot in the 2s, and the selection policy thus far has been to give debutants or marginal players a few games to settle (Pink, Nyuon, Drury etc)

Make of that what you will

I’ve had a few Sinboners in my day.

Although we are absolutely complete dog s**t on the field, it's good to see that the club doesn't seem broken on the inside, the spirit is still positive, players are tight together and genuinely happy for each other. I just hope they all stick around and enjoy the journey up the ladder as a team when it does start to turn.

With Riley it may be a bit different to our other boys, playing the all important 1/4 back roll he releases Harry to our forward line and fast tracks his development. Though it will depend on how he adjusts to senior football and if he's just going okay maybe Alastair will give him maybe a half dozen games and then bring him back into the reserves. But, having watched him as a junior, I think for a basement price he would be worth the risk, $234 k is bugger all for a defender and if he plays well he will be making money!

I would also keep an eye on Brayden George, at $200 k he is even cheaper and he is very good, just coming off an injury, he is also been training down back, in his junior years he was one of the most damaging forwards until he did his ACL in his left knee in August of his draft year, I likened him to a stocky Jordan DeGoey, stocky as in built like a "brick outhouse".

These vids showing debutants notifying their parents are always getting me in the feels. You can just imagine receiving the FaceTime call from your own kid with the news and how relieved and proud you’d feel on the spot.

Bloody hell I’d be a blubbering mess (once the call ends). That’d be for any club. If it was for my beloved North I’d likely give birth on the spot!

Go well Riley! Finally a halfback who wasn’t drawn from elsewhere to be trialled down there. His raking left foot will be a weapon for us down the track.

Just when I thought I had got out, North drag me back in with this announcement. * you North
time will crawl GIF

Pulled the trigger too early but * it. Go well young fella

That's how I feel, but it just goes to show that they probably think the world of him long-term.

It would have been very easy to bring in a player like Bergman or Archer instead, but Clarkson probably wants Hardeman to have as much time at senior level as possible.
