It is never a free hit when you are going for a threepeat.

Don't underestimate the factor that for some of these players, this will be their last shot at it. I don't think we'll be top 4 next year as we begin managing retirements so this is it.

I have been saying to my friends and family for quite some time, one more, just one more for now. And that will keep me going for a while.

Possibly but as we know there's a lot of noise and if the players start listening to it we're in trouble.

Also I actually expect Fremantle to play incredibly attacking. They will try to go straight from the centre clearance long, if we're not awake we will find ourselves 5 goals down and it'll be game over.

Reckon we have the measure of teams that try to play the rolling maul, getting the ball outside to our runners. Similarly, we have generally roved well to Sandi. We should win, unless we have terrible luck with injuries etc, early in the game.

Just got back from a visit to Waverley Park. It was eerily calm, with a few staff members keeping the shop running. A few kids on the oval with the odd jogger doing laps.

On the big screen inside, caught the last 20 seconds of the 2013 GF - chills.

The hardest thing for the players to do between now and the game is not play it in their head and be spent before it starts. That's the thing that can kill you in this game. If we go through our paces and keep our minds clear, the result will take care of itself.
