Compared to the SCG and Moore Park precinct, Sydney Olympic Park is a breeze to get out of traffic though. Even the traffic on the day of that game we had vs Swans when the Arsenal game was being played next door wasn't bad

Commiserations to you guys for last night. Funny season for you, a great result after the poor start, but once you made the 8 in great form, it would be frustrating to have lost in that fashion. I was another hoping for an all-Sydney GF, not least of which to see the Melbourne reaction, but also because one daughter is a Swans supporter!

Back on topic, I hope that Lids is actually 100% for this and we don't carry any suspect players. I'm not entirely convinced that we have selected the best team for us - although it's obvious that Leon is going for mobility, so presumably all out attack tonight, but Stevie J & an injured Lids would compromise that. If he's not 100%, we need to swap him with someone who is 100%. Hoping for a good game and a great result for GWS. The 4 hour drive back to Canberra at 11pm would be really shitty with anything other than a good win.

I know what ur saying here but it's doubt any player on the list is running at 100%at this stage of the year. I suspect the majority are spending most of their week doing recovery and working on prehab for their niggles and what not.

With that in mind I can very much see a 80-90% Lids playing

FWIW (very little, I suspect), I counted the blue seats (supposedly the ones still on sale) tonight and there were only 1301.

However, the Suttor, Vincent Fairfax and Sinclair stands are all now showing as general admission and greyed out.

I remember doing a similar exercise for the home game against the swans in 2016, and there ended up being a lot more empty seats than the blue seats on the ticketmaster graphic.

I'm a bit concerned about the likely turn up. If we start with a 24k capacity, we probably need to dock a couple of thousand, because capacity seems overstated. Then dock the 1301 that definitely appear to be unsold (being blue). Possibly dock whatever allocation there might be for ANZ members (not sure if there is an allocation) who have no intention of showing up. And dock how ever many thousand ticketmaster hasn't even put on sale or is holding back. (?)

Anyway, if the giants win, a poor turnout can be the AFL's problem to worry about ...

I reckon if we get 20,000 it will be a great result.
