McGrath's stats are complete up to the age of 37 when most professional athletes decline as they age. It's all well and good saying Cummins' stats are the same, but he's at his peak and only just keeping up. If he is wily and continues these figures until his mid 30s, then he is comparable to McGrath. But right now, he's well back.

McGrath and Lillee before him actually got better in their 30s if you compare their figures to when they were in their 20s.

I don’t see why Cummins will deteriorate barring injury until his mid 30s at least.

Ftfy :sneaky:

eg last Test, India vs England:
--- England made all the running by collapsing from 2/110 to all out 145, enabling India to win and go 3-1 up. :D
They like to "entertain" and I was hell-entertained by their loss.
After they went 1-2 down, Stokes said with typical Bazballian garblespeak that they had a great opportunity to win the series 3-2. Now they have a great opportunity to lose 2-3, which they will count as a moral victory.:rolleyes::rolleyes:
exactly.
You'd think England would have the self esteem to lose the chip, but it's been there for almost 150 years.

NZ on the other hand, the chip is the only thing they have.

Your bias is quite remarkable

bias to what ?? having a better player play ?? who gives a FF*K if he comes from WA....do you have an issue with that bro?? can't handle wa players performing must really hurt you seeing greenie ton up??

carey is in poor form and thats the point...he just doesn't get a free ride....he needs to contribute

What a massive wicket.
Other than seeing Lyon bat I missed the entire Australian innings, so did we play terribly or did NZ bowl well?
