I can’t help thinking that there might have been a tad more urgency shown by the ground staff today when it fined up if the scores were reversed. They were glacial at best.

Yep. Batted too long. Soon as Inglis got his 100 that was enough and should have sent them in. I'm not usually in that camp either (declaring earlier than perhaps otherwise would). But this time i am.

That's the home ground advantage.
Their ground staff will probably forget to put the tyres on the covers tonight so they blow away and the ground gets drenched.
Looks like this Test is going nowhere. I feel sorry for Inglis making a century on debut in a Test that many people will probably forget.
Apparently not, I expected it would be as they aren't that far apart but the rain seems confined to the far south-west currently.
