No one said Steele was responsible for lockdowns being reintroduced.
Its the attitude that the rules dont apply to some people, of which Sidey is obviously one, that has led to restrictions being reintroduced to 34 suburbs, and possibly more going forward.

What you need to understand is that Steele has not breached the State Government covid laws.

Its his attitude that the AFL's rules dont apply to him, which is the same as the members of the general community who have the same attitude to lockdown rules.
The rules are put there for a reason, but entitled people dont think they apply to them.
The only reason he self reported was because the police picked him up, otherwise, he may have gone back into the Club.
He has put the competition in jeopardy - why would other states allow Victorian clubs in when players do things like this.
Maybe try to look at the bigger picture for a change.
Knowing our ability for a scandal, it will probably come out that the entire club had a house party and Sidebottom was just the last one standing.

I did have a laugh this morning thinking about how Sidey was the one that got Bucks and Beams to clear the air, we should have known then his judgement wasn't the best!
