Cox to Petrie for me so I can then upgrade Krakoer to Leon Davis. Works out the most average points I can get. The Mcintosh and Petrie double in ruck is of some concern but worth a risk to get of NK finally.

Ok, I'm gonna use my last 2 trades this week. These are my options:

Harding -> Birchall/D.Pratt
Brennan -> SJ

VS

Harding -> S.McMahon
Kreuzer -> Hmac

VS

Muston -> Jay Van Berlo
Harding -> Hargrave or Gram (Note: This way, I also have solid midfield backup for finals)
OR
Harding -> Duffield/Enright (Straight swap, 1 trade + $21,800/$16,400)

I have numbered them for usability, I hope you don't mind.

Personally I like option 4 closely followed by option 1. then a long way back options 2 and 3.

Option 4 is a straight swap that is a consistent DT'er and option 1 would be great if SJ as fully fit and firing

I don't like options 2 and 3, I think that there are better options but I dont know what the rest of your team is or if you are after overall or league win ( I am presuming league win?)

Yeah, I'm going for a league win. I can understand option 2 being a bit scrappy but option 3 is one I'm seriously considering. In my midfield, I have Bartel, Swan, Hayes, Kornes, Gibbs and Murphy so it's pretty much complete but on the bench I have Muston and Cockie. I doubt Muston will play for the rest of the year and Cockie will never have solid job security so I was thinking if I downgraded Muston to JVB, along with upgrading Harding, I'd get some midfield backup for the finals.

My forward line consists of Riewoldt, Deledio, Buddy, Pav, Brennan, Cyril and Murphy with Brown and Warren on the bench. It looks pretty complete to me (Brown backing up for Murph atm), so I don't really feel the need to touch it though, Brennan's inconsistancy scares me a bit and he got an absolute shit 48 against the Pies so I might get rid of him for SJ.

I have 4 trades left and I'm looking to finish my midfield (currently Ablett Bartel Selwood Montagna Haselby & L.Anthony with Swift as emergency) by trading Swan in, everyone else in the top 4 of my league has him as captain. These are the trades i'm considering, which combination would be best?

Deledio for Rookie <100k
OR
Akermanis for Rookie <100k
OR
Duffield for Rookie <100k
OR
Franklin for Rookie <100k
OR
Duffield for Rookie <100k (traded Duffield in only 2 rounds ago though)

AND

Anthony for Swan
OR
Haselby for Swan

I have sufficent money so that all combinations are feasible.

Hey guys,
My situation is:
3 trades left
$200,000 in the bank
Anthony as 7th mid
Higgins and Cox to trade

I also have Grimes lurking in the backline.

Wondering if I should do the higgins trade now (most likely SJ) to have the best chance to win this week and get a week off finals.

Or should I wait, as if grimes does his back I will need a trade and have Anthony left as a 7th mid.... Any thoughts?

My opposition has Higgins and Cox also.
Ballentyne as cover...

Left myself 4 trades for the finals.

Want to fix up my backline. Current backline is:

C Cornes, Goddard, Fisher, Enright, Birchall, Suban, Broughton (Pearce, P Burgoyne)

Peter Burgoyne is out, so a good downgrade target to get some quick cash.

This week I'm thinking of downgrading PB to whoever, and upgrading Suban to either:

Suban > Lockyer or Gilbert (should be back this week)?

I'll be left with 2 trades (hopefully I'll win and be in the prelim), and the downgrade should give me enough cash to do a single upgrade later on in the midfield:

Hasleby > Swan

Just stuck on Lockyer v Gilbert, who's the better option?

I'm not sure why you would trade out a keeper in the forward line to upgrade semi-keepers in your mids. Have you got the likes of chapman, Higgins or anyother injurys? 4 trades left is enough to look elswhere for cash if you don't. Otherwise upgrade Haselby with some cash from a rookie cash cow maybe.

I chose Lockyer 2 weeks ago. Flip a coin really. I have.

I have 3 forwards out this week - chappy, Higgins, Balla - and only 2 trades left.
I'm keen to keep Chappy on the pine for the week or two that he'll be out so this week I'm trading Higgins and Balla. I'm going Higgins to Deledio and with the remaining cash my options for Balla are either McGlynn, Stokes, McPhee or Rioli. Who to go for and why?

This is my team currently:

Backs: Goddard, S Fisher, Cornes, Drummond, Birchall, Grimes, Broughton (Post, Petrenko)

Centres: Ablett, Swan, Bartel, Selwood, Gibbs, Anthony (Hartlett, Muston)

Rucks: McIntosh, Petrie (Jacobs, Spencer)

Forwards: Pavlich, Riewoldt, SJ, Deledio, Didak, Franklin, Higgins (M.Brown, Ballantyne)

4 trades left, $291,200 spare.

Had been planning to go Higgins --> Chapman and Hartlett --> Corey, but obviously now with Chapman ruled out for a few weeks I'll have to change my plans.

As I see it, the next best forwards that I don't have are Jono Brown, ROK and Leon Davis, with Brown the best of those 3 I think.

So, if I go Higgins --> Jono Brown,

I'll have $452,100 to spend on a midfielder for Hartlett, which is any midfielder besides Joey Montagna. I'd probably still be leaning towards Corey because of his price but the likes of Hayes, Boyd, Pendlebury etc. are all viable options as well.

However, if I go Higgins --> Leon Davis, I'll be able to afford Montagna as well. But with Joey apparently a little injured, I'm just not sure that it's a wise move.

I must say that I'm leaning towards Jono Brown and Corey but there are plenty of options for me to consider.

What do people think is the best duo for me to go for?

Hey guys would love some advice on what i should do:
I have 5 Trades and $41,100 but i am in a do or die final this week.
Suggestions would be greatly appreciated

Downgrade something in your backline so you have the cash to upgrade Walker to a gun.

+!

I'd be downgrading either Chornes or Grimes (the 2 most injury prone) to C Wilson then spend the next 2 trades upgrading Walker first, and then Krakouer

For some reason, I've still got Houlihan in my team even though i'm doing quite well now.
I finished 4th and have 3 trades left.
Im really considering trading Muston to Van Berlo or anyone really as I will have DeBoer covering. This will leave me enough money to uprgrade Houlihan to Enright/Lockyer.

Is this worth doing?
With 4 trades left I would definately do it, but having only 3 and leaving 1 trade for 3 weeks is a litte risky I think...

Thoughts?

What do you guys reckon is a better option:

Cox -> Sandi; Warren -> LeCras/?

Cox -> Petrie; Warren/Higgins -> Pav

Cox -> Petrie; Higgins -> SJ/Roo (one of Balla or Sidebottom on field; Warren on the bench for the rest of the season)

Basically I can either hope Higgins comes back soon, or upgrade him, but have to carry Warren as dead-weight.
Hopefully this will leave me with enough money for my last trade to upgrade a mid or back (depending on my needs).

forwards of sj, didak, higgins, lids, n.brown, franklin and goodwin.
rucks of petrie and cox.
two trades left and looking to trade out cox and higgins this week.
which one the below combinations if the best option?
cox and higgins out for:
hmac and davis/j.brown/pavlich/ anyone under 425K
sandy and same as above and anyone under 414K
clark and davis/pavlich/anyone under 404.5K
jolly/tippet and anyone (roo)
thoughts?

Have 1 trade left :(

Do I go:
Brad Green>Hayes/Corey/Selwood/Boyd
or
Cox>Sandi

I'm copping a zero either way, but I'm thinking bringing in another midfielder will net me more points. If i went the mids option, which of those 4 would you choose? Corey looks like he will play backline for abit, which may reduce his scoring.
