IN: Swan and Laidler (Named as first emergency for Geelong)
OUT: J.Anthony and Haselby

I have $200 spare if I make this trade, is it worth getting Swan to most likely cop a zero in the forward line for the next 2 weeks with Ballantyne suspended? (My opponent also has Ballantyne with no cover)

Why not get Callum Wilson and Swan?

Went Garlett -> Wilson to avoid a Riewoldt donut, and now upgrading Raines to either Cornes or McGrath to avoid another in the backline. Will still suffer one.

Who should it be? Chornes or McGrath?

Any help?

Chornes costs a bit less, but McGrath's been scoring better and is in a better side.

Chad - seems to be working slowly back into some form. McGrath is prone to go missing.

One for me - Hodge or Doughty or Enright?

Not Hodge as he could be one loss away from being put out to pasture for the season.

Doughty or Enright then, Enright more reliable I'd say but he could find himself playing closer to home till Scarlett, Taylor & Harley return.

Therefore Doughty.

One for me - team complete bar L. Anthony on the field with 3 trades and around $42,000. Worth using a trade to upgrade D.Mundy to C.Cornes?

Will do, cheers.

Just know if it costs me my EF I'll hunt you down. :) Haha nah jks, I've been frozen over which one to take for a while so it's good to get someone else just telling me which one to go for.

Just used my last trade.

Salopek -> Swan

Praying for luck now, but i figured with guys like Grimes, Gilbert, Higgins and Goddard all due to return within 1 or 2 weeks, and with Anthony and Spencer on my bench...I have plenty to return to the side and I'm in the top 600 so I may as well go for a high overall ranking. Just spewing i have 90 thousand in my bank that will not be utilised.

My lesson this year from my trading experience is that if the game remains the same next year....zero's are simply a part of the game now. I spent too many trades covering short term injuries.

I'm very thankful in the 2nd half of the year i kept faith in Pav, Higgins and Steve Johnson. Although Higgins is out again, he came back and gave me some good scores. I've continued to hold onto him.

I'm also very happy I held onto Anthony, Cheny and Broughton early in the year. I've learnt that you don't necessarily have to start with a full list of 30 all playing....but having a few rookies who are definites to play by 2nd half of the year is very handy.

That said, there were times early in the year where I needed them but they weren't available...and therefore I wasted trades.

Neon or Boomer?
I'd go Neon

I have 1 trade left and 201.3k

Hit pretty hard with injury this week and will play with:

One zero in the back (Goddard/Gilbert out but Cheney covering one)
Four zero in the forward line (Riewoldt/Chapman/Higgins/Ballentyne out with two dud rookies on the bench)

I am thinking I will use my last trade to patch a zero in the forward line, I have two options;
1) upgrade a dud rookie (Garlett 153k) to a good player like Delideo/Acker
2) trade Higgins/Chapman (more likely to be more than a week out) to another gun player like Davis/O'Keefe/Didak

to above. definatly give gartlett the boot. you will love the forward line depth. not saying much for my situation though.

My forward line has had Roughy/Skippy rotating through the 7th spot for a major part of this season. And i have loved the cover.

However... this week - with Roo, Skippy, Higgins and Ballantyne out im in a pickle.

I have 4 trades left and 40k odd. (200 short of going Higgins to Didak)

Im thinking it's time to offload Skippy and Higgins and avoid any donuts this week (thanks to Rance, Suban, Anthony and Beams) :)

I'm most likely going to go Skippy > Rioli, which will free me enough cash to go just about anybody.

Who do people think to be the best option (ie. Score the most points from here on) out of

Didak
JB
Davis
Brad Johnson

Trying to avoid two zeros, one in defence one in forward..

Want to go Higgins to Stevie J..

So need a few extra thousand..

Options are
Harding to Scotland, Birchall, lovett Murray or Burguone...

Leaning towards scotland or birchall coz doubts over the other two..

Will Scotland play out the rest of thr year??

Not guaranteed too - especially if we cop a 10 goal belting tonight which is entirely possible.

SJ or Pav? Will they stay in their sides over the DT finals? Normally I'd say SJ cause he's one of the best in the comp, but he could still be carrying an injury (and be rested), plus Pav's run home is better IMO.

Ok Guys, i have only 1 trade left and 2 zeroes this week:

Fisher
Skipworth

Should i trade to save 1 zero, or not as i am playing an opponent that has much more damadge them me, NOTE 72k in the bank?

EDIT: I can Get Aker or Pav for Skip? who should i get?

yeah i would get pav, especially after the new rumours of johnson not playing

i wouldnt trade and if you did i would pick pav

dono why i should bother this week with all the injuries but i think i have to do this now:
downgrade purgoyne to wilson and have suban, wilson, pearce in for purgoyne, goddard and fisher and then either upgrade lovett to didak/davis or suban to enright
- if i upgrade suban to enright then i take the 0 in lovett this week and have enough money left over to upgrade haselby to a gun in pendlebury/hayes/selwood etc but not swan and hope lovett returns next week, and/or roo i guess.
- if i upgrade lovett to didak i avoid a 0 and play suban but can upgrade haselby to same midfielders next week or suban to enright/hargrave
- if i upgrade lovett to davis it is the same as didak except if swan doesnt go up by more than 4k then i could get him in for haselby next week or just upgrade suban to enright like with didak

lovett may only be out for 1 week so maybe it is worth taking the extra 0 but didak will do much better than him anyway. i think i should do purgoyne to wilson. upgrade lovett to didak this week. upgrade suban to enright next week and have about 50k left for last injury trade and keep anthony/haselby playing which is annoying but injuries have forced it. would love people's thoughts?

Do it, Pav has a ridiculously low BE this week and if you don't get him now he is going to skyrocket in price.
That what i thought, cover in all areas and a bit of luck will get me through to round 22

Got two trades
have chapman and roo out
is it worth getting pav for chapman even though i will probably win the league game
I am ranked 600

Depends what you're focused on, want a higher rank? Do the trade. Want to have more security for injuries and focus on a league win? Then don't. Personally in your position I would do the the trade, but I like to take risks.
