I’m a Geelong Cats member. Do I still need to purchase a ticket for the finals?

Yes, you will need to purchase tickets should you wish to attend.

As a member of a club participating in the finals, you will receive priority access (prior to the general public) to purchase one ticket per membership card for any final in which the Geelong Cats participate in weeks 1, 2 and 3.

Geelong Cats members will receive a two-day priority access period for the opportunity to purchase tickets to the game before the general public.

When can I purchase tickets?

Tickets for finals played in Melbourne or Brisbane in Weeks 1, 2 & 3 will be made available to members of the competing Clubs on the Monday prior to the match at 9am EST.

How many tickets can I purchase?

Generally, member access will be on a one for one basis (i.e. one membership can purchase one ticket) however this may increase depending upon the game and ticket availability.

A maximum of eight (8) tickets per transaction applies when purchasing tickets with all tickets purchased requiring an eligible membership barcode.

I’m a member. Can I purchase finals tickets through the Club?

No. All members must purchase through the designated ticketing outlets:

MCG or Sydney finals:
Ticketek
132 849
Ticketek.com.au

Re: Geelong finals tickets information

Hmac, ticketek website says members tickets go on sale Monday 9am and general public wed 9am. Which is annoying because it really prevents you from going to the game with any friends who aren't members.

Anyone know which end is ours (i.e. cheersquad end) this week? I want to make sure I'm not sitting in enemy territory when I go get my ticket.

Re: Geelong finals tickets information

People lining up for tickets since 11am today

You were just wandering by eh? Admit it rizzo, this is you posting from in the queue because it's cold and you're not getting much sleep on the concrete while waiting for your ticket :D

Back on topic, I know we were at the Ponsford end for the Dawks and the Pies games, so does that mean same again?

Re: Geelong finals tickets information

I got M50 on the net all done by 9.03
Ohh nice spot, that would have been perfect for me but I couldn't be bothered going through the awful Ticketek 're-search' process at work.

Re: Geelong finals tickets information

First 1 they gave me and undercover:thumbsu:
Oh yeah, my brother wanted towards the front on M. We often end up about M51/M52 for finals but towards the back (which is good in case of rain) but I like being in the front half.

Still, can't complain with being right near the front in N53. :)

I saw a handful of people outside a Ticketek agency at 9am yesterday.

I admire their eagerness but surely if you know about the internet you'd buy online and save yourself the hassle (and many hours).

M50 for me as well.
I wanted level two of the Olympic Stand but the only level two seats offered to me where behind the goals in the Southern Stand, a spot i dislike, so in the end i settled on seats in M50.

Ideally i'd have got level two or even a few rows further back on level one but i'm rapt to be close to the wing in the Olympic Stand because it's easily the best non-MCC view in the house for me.

He'd love my seats, then.
I prefer to be raised a little more from the ground.

Still, can't complain with being right near the front in N53. :)

They're the seats i was after (well, ideally N50).
Absolute best seats in town, you lucky bugger.

What row are you in M50? We could possibly swap.

Re: Geelong finals tickets information

We lose when I sit level Q (2008 Grand Final). Cursed spot.

Haha, complete opposite for me.

Sat in Q deck for the 2007 and 2009 grand finals... had a prime spot on the wing on M level in 2008.
