Re: Geelong finals tickets information and questions - including Grand Final ballot

$123 adult for premium, what was it last year? :(
Don't know as this is my first year off concession tickets, but that is a bloody lot for most people - particularly since more than half the ground are premium.

Lucky MJ is still a concession, but $83 is still hefty... Makes an AFL membership seem pretty appealing though eh?

Silver Members like myself get a bit of a poke in the eye though, quoted from my email:
"AFL Full Members
All AFL Full Members have access* to the above final.

AFL Full Members are able to purchase a reserved seat for themselves only at the AFL Full Member rate for this match. Tickets in the AFL Reserve will be made available to AFL Full Members from 9am EST on Tuesday, September 14 through Ticketek.
Due to the anticipated demand for ticketing for this match, guest passes will not be made available.

For further information regarding reserved seating for AFL Full Members, click here.

AFL Silver Members with a Collingwood or Geelong Cats Club Support Package
AFL Silver Members with a Collingwood or Geelong Cats Club Support package have two options to access* this match:
i. They may access one ticket per membership through their clubs membership allocation in the public section of the ground, at the public price from 9am EST on Monday, September 13 through Ticketek.
ii. Should AFL Full Members not exhaust the allocation of tickets within the AFL Reserve, AFL Silver Members may choose to purchase a reserved seat for themselves only at the guest pass price from 12pm EST on Tuesday, September 14 through Ticketek.
AFL Silver Members will be advised on aflmembership.com.au prior to 12pm if any tickets remain in the AFL Reserve.
Should an AFL Silver Member with a Collingwood or Geelong Cats Club Support package choose to purchase a ticket through their clubs membership allocation, they will not be able to access a ticket in the AFL Reserve for this match."

Re: Geelong finals tickets information and questions - including Grand Final ballot

No point in waiting/risking if you're a silver member...

AFL Silver Member Ticket Prices
Silver Adult Members - $111
Silver Concession Members - $75
Silver Junior Members - $28

Pretty shit.

I guess we'll be shit when I finally get a gold membership.

I hate the price charting of where the seats are. How can level Q be prime. Bullshit, AFL. :(

Also, I'm buying 7 seats in the morn, there isn't a limit, right?

Nope, Dogs v Saints is the season ticket game.

Re: Geelong finals tickets information and questions - including Grand Final ballot

Just a quick one in regards to Prelim tickets; what are GFC members thoughts for the best way to purchase tickets?
- Ticketek via phone.
- Ticketek via net.
- Ticketek outlet.

Imo- either the net or in person.

Have had nightmares booking tickets over the phone with Ticketek- they have a stupid recording and it takes FOREVER to make your booking.

PS. GO NINTY!!!! Get good seats!!!!! :D:thumbsu:

Re: Geelong finals tickets information and questions - including Grand Final ballot

Over the net! :thumbsu:

I doubt an outlet would like having to type in seven membership barcodes. :p - plus the fact you won't be buying them right on at 9am if there is a few in line... Although, at least the outlet can search for the seats better. >_<

Re: Geelong finals tickets information and questions - including Grand Final ballot

just curious... how do you get level 2 in olympic?

i went through the options and selected olympic and first time they gave me ground level... second time they gave me ground level... so rather than tempt fate and end up in the nose bleeds I took them
