Chaplin is Averaging 91 this year but last week he had a quite poor performance for his average getting only 77. A pretty good pickup for $424,000 though.

Ended up going for Waite instead. Happy with it so far.

Yeah i ended up kicking myself when i traded out Waite because i thought he was suspended for more than a week.

Is Goose Maguire a keeper?

I can upgrade him straight to Heath Shaw this week and only use one trade and im thinking I should do that rather than trading Beau Waters based on his last game.

Thoughts?

Not with his foot injury I would've thought. No one seems sure how long he'll be out for.

I took the punt last week and traded Maguire out for Gilbee. Seemed to work with Waters putting up 100+ and Magurie injuring his foot.

Does anyone know why Taite Silverlock is at 99k instead of the usual rookie price? Just curious, since I was looking up potential downgrade targets, and saw this.

I think he was a first round rookie draft pick

Same thing with Brodie Moles. 89k

Just after some advice for who to trade in for Maguire. I have no bench cover for him, with Kenelly still sitting on my bench til he comes back and Nason on my field, things aren't looking great for my team this round.
So I was going to downgrade Trengove to Gysberts to get the cash to upgrade Maguire to anyone.
Am tossing up between Corey Enright and Sam Gilbert. Gilbert is 20k more expensive, but no difference in averages.
Am leaning towards Gilbert, because he is a more unique pick than Enright, the majority of teams in my league have Enright, but is that worth the extra 20k?

2-4 weeks they say and Goose will be back.


If you have him stick with him. Not worth getting rid of especially with the split round break which will help him out.

It hurts, and the guy above telling me about keeping Waters hurts even more, but this is the way to go guys. I have Webberly as cover, as do most, and he is decent enough.

How about the SC form of Richard Douglas lately!

I need some help guys. I'm sitting at number 2 in my league, 1 loss behind number 1.

I have 340 500 in the bank, and I want to upgrade mcveigh in the mids and natnu in the ruck.

I currently have bartel, cooney, murphy, barlow, and watson
plus sandilands in the ruck. My opponent has hodge ( I have hodge in the backs), chapman, ablett, pavlitch, gibs and barlow along with sandilands and cox.

I'm looking to upgrade and get the upper hand with some different players, any suggestions?

I already have pav and goddard, swan and mumford were my first thoughts.

Hoping that Stevenson can come back in for the Eagles in 2 weeks. Not sure why he was dropped after the Tigers game.

Plenty of the ball for Claremont on the weekend. Also note Tom Swift in stats also.

Was anyone stupid like me and didn't trade him for Riewoldt? I'm going for a league win and figured the Cats are playing the Eagles in the last round at Skilled so he could be handy but the form seems to be tailing off. Have got some money to upgrade him but only 2 trades left. May have to just see how he goes in the next couple of weeks.

I couldn't trade him for Roo. Not enough cash for it.

I reckon I'll just persevere and hope he picks up. In Round 22, if something presents, I'll take the bait.

Traded him this week for Waite so I could MPP him to my backline. Very happy I did it this week because next week it would have been out of my price range.

I'd scouted out how many games left at skilled the cats had to play that and people coming back into the team. Although I doubt Hawkins will get another game... he looked pathetic out there, not jumping at ruck contests, hands were as stiff as boards, he reminded me of myself when i was 16 and grew 8" in what felt like two weeks. So can only hope the conditions over the next few weeks are more similar to those when he was scoring 100+ weeks on end.

Great story none the less. Wish him all the best.

Yep I was one those people, but was kinda hoping he wasnt going to play so his value didnt drop. Only 2 trades left and fair bit cash so should still be able to trade him to Roo/Chappy next week. Really should got rid of him when he had peaked at 494K and showed signs of that injury.
