What do you guys think of Waite? At 407k i think he could be worth a shot. I got Gilbee atm but not sure on him, he screwed he over a bit last year with his poor form

I've just started thinking about Waite for Gilbee as well. Didn't expect him to be so cheap.

Been a consistent defender in the past who also has a high scoring ceiling. My only worry is that a guy that relies on mobility coming back from an ACL could result in some poor games. Also, what's his role gonna be? Will be played off half back like last year, or will he be required on the half forward line? How will this affect his scoring.

His price is very, very tempting for such a quality player though.

The ACL injury is what is worrying me as well. Could be a disaster, but could be a gem for 2010. He has posted up some fantastic scores in the past 2 seasons or so. But the whole ACL issue is still a bother atm. Might have to keep an eye out on him during the NAB.

I'm pretty sure were going to be playing him up forward, with some sweeping roles down back throughout the season. Mostly he'll be up forward though. If his playing at CHF, which i believe is his preferred position i think he could be a valuable pick up.

He is cheap and was in good form in 2008 but I am not sure after his ACL...

david hille again is very tempting for mine just 311k. im choosing between 2 of tippet, kreuzer and hille so not so sure. Waite im going to monitor in the NAB cup if he scores decent ill pick him up.

Daniel Wells whats the story with him? still injured or not?
he is very cheap should i get him or steer clear?

By all reports he is in great condition and mentally ready for this season according to an article on afl.com.

If he can get close to his 2008 form when he was averaging around 90, would be an absolute steal at that price.

Thoughts on Deledio, everyone had him in when he was listed as a forward but dumped him as soon as the player listings came out. I still think he is a very good premium mid option it, he finished the year strong and seemed to cope with the tag alot better. Coming into his fifth season he looks prime.

He is valuable as a midfielder up forward, but he can't handle a tag well enough for me personally to consider him purely in the middle. I think there is enough talent at a cheaper price than he is in the midfield.

Looking for some input on LeCras and Rioli?

Im looking for a mid-priced midfielder and thinking Callam Ward may be the man this season. Plenty of upside but not sure how he'll go. What are you guys expecting from him this season?

I am thinking the same for Burton, the Mark of the Year kind of points to his knee being in good shape, provided he has a solid preseason I think I'll jump on him.

See who starts in the NAB cup out of him and Leuenberger. I suspect it's going to be Charman, at least for the first few weeks.

You could always have a bob each way and choose both if you think they'll score well enough between the two of them to be upgraded to a keeper.

Suban - 2nd yr is it, i would say go for a 1st yr and give him a chance ie sheppard or moore.

Goodes - no more hall or olock, so could see him moving fwd with bradshaw, dont know how much this will affect his scores but i would wait and see

Ward - dont know much about him

Kennelly - locked in for me if preseason has no faults, has come back ready to play afl and is fitter then ever!

Cooney - I have always steered clear of cooney and stuck with cross, i would hav to say im a happy man for doing that over the years, doing it once again in 2010!

Enright - tough, great scer, i guess there wouldnt be much change in price but he is a keeper and at the end of the day thats what you want, last yr he was 1 of few in the def who were consistantly scoring over 100. just keep in mind harly's retirment

Greenwood - only through reading about him on bigfooty, there are better options from the kanga's

Shoey/polkinghor - ???

White - 2nd ruck maybe but i still cant see him avg over 80, last yr he played a few games and avg 50 dont expect too much from him this yr! im taking a punt with hille and ottens i think, might maje a late change if i orgaise money and upgrade ottens to a proven 100+ scorer

McGrath - pfft, forget is spend your money on someone who has not been around or spend a bit more on someone you know can score 100!

also what are peoples thoughts on T.Hawkins? is this his breakout yr?

and im sure this had been thrown out there, will obviously be waiting on NAB cup but atm who is the man to go to...scully or trengrove?
