Word is we've just signed Liam Miller. The one time next big thing for Celtic who played brilliantly in the CL under O'Neill and then walked out to go to United for more money and ruined his career. Not sure if I want to cheer on that dick.

Perth Glory have pulled off a major coup by signing former Celtic and Manchester United midfielder Liam Miller.

Thewest.com.au understands the 30-year-old Republic of Ireland international is joining on a two-year deal.

He will however be one of the youngest players at the club...

In all seriousness though good signing- if he's serious about his football still he will be a very handy acquisition!

I think this is a great signing. He must have bucket loads of talent to have played at the clubs he has, hopefully he uses it to full effect. Young at 30 as well (For Glory) which is a plus.

Now to sign van der Brink and complete a very impressive squad.

It is a good signing and just what we needed, i'm just now getting the injection of optimism that I got from the Fowler signing and this time I'm wary of it.

Supporting Glory is like being a beaten wife. You're beaten and humiliated but then promised that they've changed and everything will be better and to come back only to find yourself being let down and humilated again.

Still need another CB to complete a suqad which (on paper) can be quite decent.

Their was nothing wrong with the Fowler signing and he gave as good as we would have expected from him.

It was how he was used and the useless player surrounding him. This time we have some real quality all over the park and Miller seems like we will be a real find for us to add to the quality.

Still have a shit manager who only knows hoofball and old fashioned British football which is the only worry for the season.

I don't want another season wasted even though we have the squad capable. But I reckon even with Fergie in charge the players on the field should still be able to win games on their own.

Do need another CB as you said. Also one that could play RB as if Neville goes down, we only have Risdon.

Liam Miller, cracking signing. Been pretty decent for Hibs in recent times, at A-League level he should do really well.

Good signing. Decent for Hibs when it appears he can be bothered, never really did anything against Hearts in the games I've been to. Will be good in the A-League if he puts the hard work in and doesn't think it'll be a stroll in the park.
