Melbourne Victory coach Ange Postecoglou has confirmed that star player Harry Kewell has rejected a new 2 year deal, worth over $1M a season, for family reasons. Kewell will not be playing in the A-League next season as it is believed he will move to England with his family to be with his wife's mother, who is gravely ill. The shock move now leaves new coach Postecoglou with large gaps to fill in his squad following the departure of Carlos Hernandez, Ante Covic, Fabio, Matthew Kemp and now Kewell.

Chipperfield won't be coming back to Australia. According to SBS he's staying in Switzerland to play as an amatuer (and go back to being a bus driver?). He's a funny old fellow.
