Re: Player X v Player Y

How about Carrazzo and Cripps vs Lake and J. Roo vs Rookie and Stevie J/?
Rookie and Steve J.

Cripps is getting rookie scores but for 70k more, and for that price you would want to be certain he doesnt get the green vest. Carrots was a value pick last year, but this year he is priced just about right, however he struggles to play a full season. I dont know how much you should read into J.Riewoldts NAB scores as he played GWS, a weak Geelong team that Richmond thrashed, and a half of footy against the Dockers. If Richmond improve as a team then he should improve his DT scores.

Re: Player X v Player Y

Neither but Mccarthy if you have to. You saw how Masten played when the game went up a notch against the Crows.

Robinson imo. More consistant.

Lake + SJ
v
Waters + Robinson
Robbo and Waters seems very risky. Id be going for Lake and SJ you have more chance of getting 44 games out of them.

Re: Player X v Player Y

Been tossing up the Pav v Fyfe question myself. I think Fyfe is the best of the 2 but Pav back in his CHF role is where he scores best imo.

Duffield under Lyon is looking much better and I would back him to bump his average by a decent margin this year.

Re: Player X v Player Y

2nd option for me

Mumford and Jacobs is lock and load and both those rucks tickle my fancy.
I always like going a mid pricer (although haven't this year). Of those I really like Caddy over the other two.

Due to our forward line injuries I wouldn't be surprised to see Cox spend a fair bit of time in the forward 50 reducing his hitouts and back line marks and kicks he sometimes gets. I still think he'll average well but I personally don't have him due to this reason.

Watson will be a very good pick BUT I seriously doubt his body will hold up for the whole season

Do you think Caddy will be nursed through this year? As in a way he basically is a first year player, considering he only played 2 games last year.

It's hard to say but I don't think he will. GC will be a stronger side this year and will be looking to impress early. Should get plenty of game time and is a very good player

So i take it you rate him higher than Parker? Who has been super impressive this NAB cup also, i guess with Parker his role becomes a bit of an issue. His JS is obviously solid, but the role is the worry, i don't think that will be an issue for Caddy but more so if he will get rested/nursed through the year.

I do like Caddy though.

Re: Player X v Player Y

Sidebottom vs Dangerfield

A tough one, i have both. I reckon sidebottom will average 95 at seasons end.

Dangerfield has a higher ceiling, although is a sight chance to flop. His price is significantly cheaper as well. In the end i'd do danger, could make or break your team.

Mccarthy and M.Clarke vs rookie mid. vs golby/waters

Rookie Mid and Waters

Waters and Dangerfield Vs Lake and D.Martin?!?

Re: Player X v Player Y

Definitely Shaw. Much safer option.

Curtly Hampton v Adam Kennedy? Curtly has better job security of getting a best 22, but Adam has better scoring potential and I'm worried about Curtly copping the vest.

I like Parker but I think he will be playing a different role once the whole swans side are playing together

Best to wait for the teams to come out and see where there named i guess.

Cloke vs SJ

Re: Player X v Player Y

i'd go the other way and say SJ will score more but naturally he is more expeensive.

Guys, feel free to join our DT league below, winner of the league takes $200 home, free entry.

Cheers Trojan

I've just signed up thanks for the free $200. It's in the bag...

Anyone else see the irony that the guy that wants us to visit his site and is offering you the chance to win money for free is called Trojan............

Anyway I like Cloke for his price rather than SJ, SJ I will see as a good upgrade target once GWS have washed some of his price off.
