This is ridiculous.

Firstly, there is no way in hell that Zak Jones will last to pick 40.

Secondly, trying to argue that older or younger siblings are better is farcical... There are heaps of examples on both sides. For every Nathan Ablett there is a Joel Selwood.

Just Reading up on travis tuck
Sanfl coach said he has his life back on track and is the best clearance player in the sanfl

25 years old, pick 52 or 70 on him?

I've watched a few SANFL games this year, and Travis Tuck is just another scrubber like Magner.

Last year I would have been ok with picking him up, but hopefully our new additions plus pick 9 will mean that we could pick up some players with a point of difference with our late picks.

You sure?

I'm sure I'm not. Maybe someone else is. I'll have to put some fine print in my signature.

Are you related to any decent footballers?

If my first name is the same as a great of the game does this count?

Im sure BP used something along these lines when drafting for us. Jordan Gysberts / Michael Jordan. Sure the sport was different but i get where he was going.

Plus.... Gys-Bert-s

Bert.

Bert and Ernie.

Bert and Ernie are awesome.

Therefore Gysberts was always going to be awesome.

Why would you need to carefully research players when faultless logic such as that can be applied?

With the work we've done on trading in, I'm keen to use a mid-late pick on Dayle Garlett and trust Roos to guide him.

I think Garlett will be gone before our second round pick (40) to be honest. Hawks likely to pick him up around 24, and if not the Bombers might have a dip at 26.

He would be a great get. Talented, and (at the risk of causing controversy a la Matt Rendell) boarded in Melbourne so he won't have the baggage that someone like Jurrah (i.e. from the outback) came to the AFL with.

I think the controversy you are at risk of causing is assuming that because he is indigenous he is from some backwater, he is from Endevour Hills. He moved all the way from Dandenong to Kew

And as we've already heard many times, it's a weak draft. Someone will take the punt on him, short of him exposing himself to an on-fire dwarven schoolgirl in the lead up to the ND.
