Hi Guys,

Seriously considering a swap from Heppell to Hartlett this week.

I know there is understandably a lot of love for Hartlett here so probably going to get a biased response here.

I guess my main question is about the role change and past scores. Previously Hartlett has shown ability to pump out big scorers like on the weekend but also some stinkers. Do you think thats because he has played more off half back and can get lost when you guys are losing easily and would be less likely to happen with increased midfield role?

Or has he predominately played that role over the last 2 years anyway so still expect big ups and downs?

His weekend score was very tasty but you wont win easily like that often after this week so worried about reading too much into it.

Hamish points resembled our team.

He should be more consistent this year.

He was in the midfield and up forward.

Tagged and then injured (don't have more info), don't think he was on the ground at all for at least 25 minutes of that last quarter.

I can't see need being dropped, he kicked two goals and had 11 score involvements from 15 possie's plus pressure acts, i would be livid if he's dropped.

I would make Gray wait IMO

Any word on Hartlett? Has he had back issues in the past?

We've been told Hartlett will play. He's had hamstring and shoulder issues in the past. His back complaint is from an awkward landing and not related his previous injuries as far as I know.

We haven't played Brisbane yet so I'm unless you're talking about last year I'm lost.

Hartlett was injured throughout the game and didn't get much time on the ground - didn't want to risk him.

He should be ready to go by round 3 and will be worth it.

Hey guys! Loving the start of season Port are having(Have been a fan of the Power for awhile), love the kids that are coming through, not just from a SC point of view but there looks to be a solid foundation set for the future with the like of Wingard, Wines, Pittard, Stevenson, Heath, O'Shea, Mitchell, Neade etc etc all looking the goods. Just a quick one on Mitchell, is he likely to get a game this week? Is anyone in line for a recall? And if he is named will he be the favourite for the vest again?

Mitchell is a great unknown this week. I don't think he can crack our best 21 so he'll likely be a sub or play a full game in the SANFL. Cassisi, Moore and Young are all knocking on the door and will likely be named in our 25.

Traditionally it has been Cornes. Job security not an issue. Ignore his age.
