But on that note (disregarding martin, lets not discuss that anymore)

I think Josh Kennedy can score as high as lecras

Lecras has never averaged over (80 odd?? Not on the computer atm cant check the stats) and hes not going to ever be a big dt premium

Time in the midfield will be less from previous seasons with a seasoned and expanded eagles midfield

Shuey
Scooter
Gaff
Wellingham
Kerr
Priddis
Cox/Naitanui
Rosa

He'll be at the stoppages in the attacking half if the ground but he wont go sny deeper than that and will mainly be used offensively.

Kennedy I know only scored 120 when he kicked ten but I honestly think kennnedy is one of the top 5 forwards in the comp and should be good for a 70 point average... hasnt got the consistency of lecras but all you need is kennedy to go bang in one game and go alright for a few more and his 3ra will boost his meagre price quite nicely

Neither are keepers so go for the one that can make you more money... if kennedy kicks 7 one week 4 the next and a couple of hat tricks youll be laughing all the way to a cheeky 150k+ return on your investment

Kennedy is the only one of knights/varcoe/byrnes price range who can score big scores. . Take that as you will

The selection of Kennedy depends where he plays
If he plays at CHF where he is playing on the 50m arch and taking marks up the wings then at that price he would be a good pick-up, alot of chance for +6 and would always be in the game.

Playing at FF he is alot more reliant upon kicking goals to score well, not that many chances for +6 and there could be alot of downtimes as well

I guess I'm banking on the fact that I think West Coast will do very well this year so he should be scoring 3-4 goals a game.

Yep that's the problem, he will be playing FF this year like he has the last couple of years. With Lynch gone Darling will be the lead up CHF.

Boyd, Goldstein and Franklin
or
Dangerfield, Maric and Zorko

ATM I have the first option but am not sure about Goldstein as my premo ruck.
NB: both options are about the same price.

Currie is firming as a big chance to oust Goldstein from his position, and also Daw is throwing his hat into the ring with his raw athletic prowess...

hard to go past Boyd and Buddy though...

Thanks for the reply.
Yea, it's a tough one for me...Really reluctant to be downgrading Boyd and Buddy.

As stated, Currie is a huge chance to be Norths #1 ruck in 2013. Throw Cox in the forwards & Rowe in the ruck bench just incase for the dpp option.

Save your money and you can upgrade to 1 more premo elsewhere

Orrrr Darling could play flank
Kennedy chf
And cox/nic nat full forward...

Its possible
What do you reckon??

Possible but unlikely. Cox/Naitanui will play as the 3rd tall. Kennedy is too important in the 50 because he is so good at crashing packs and applying defensive pressure. He might venture up every now and again but I can't see him playing at CHF.

Cox - Kennedy - Lecras
Hill - Darling - Masten

Would be my guess at the starting 6 once Naitanui is back and firing.

This may have been done
Pittard or Vlastuin?

if Vlastuin gets named round 1 he'll be hard to pass up... lockout is right before the game and you'll know if he is a starting sub or not... Port played well against a disinterested WestCoast last night but from a DT perspective Pittard provided very little output... mind you NAB cup form is terribly misleading quite often.

Pittard. Third year player with better JS, imo.

Good JS shit DT scorer. I'd rather start a Stevenson, Terlich, Docherty or even Skinny Colquhoun and **** that bitch off back to SC where she belongs.

What are peoples thoughts on Terlich, is he going to play ??

I reckon he will. Go onto the MFC website and listen to the Neeld post match interview where he lauds Terlich as being probably the only "4 quarter player".

Cheers.... I'm bloody annoyed at this split round rubbish. Makes it bloody hard to setup your side properly....

How would you know ? Are you basing your assessment from his two NAB games this year ?

I have the first 3 you mention anyway, but yes, I know you said "start".

I reckon Vlastuin won't get games early, or wear green, which is a concern.

2011 Pittard averaged 55.8 in his 13 games...

We'll know soon enough if Vlastuin will get early games or be named as Sub. He was a Mid at TAC level, if he gets early games I'm expecting 70+ from him

But that's not unreasonable for a first year player.

I just can't see Vlastuin nailing down a permanent position on Richmond's back-line - yet. He's behind Batchelor, Morris, Houli, and Newman, although the latter seems to have a new role. There's Grimes, Chaplin, Dea, or even the rookie Petterd. Will Ellis be used down back occasionally too ?

Vlastuin didn't make Vic Metro as a mid and was played off a HBF. I know he's the flavour of the month, but I'm not as certain as others. He'll get games, be subbed and play for Coburg whereas Pittard should be a regular, not withstanding his uninspiring NAB series. That said, I'm not wedded to Pittard either.
