So to sum up your argument your opinion is those players suck and better players were drafted later. got it.

I'll take my reasoning and logic over your opinion any day pal and we can agree to disagree because you aint gonna sway anyone to believe what you believe unless they want to believe it, in which case they will swallow whatever you tell them and have fun with that if that's what you want.

injury this injury that, fact is butcher was available late in 2013 and wasnt picked.
Why? Because he's no good.
Hes a decent mark, and good athleticism but he cant get enough of the pill and sure cant kick when he's got it. He's lucky that 3/4 of his shots at goal have come from <25m so his stats dont look too bad.

And its hilarious that in the same post you condemn crows supporters for overrating their players, you support one of your fellow supporters who still think Butcher and Moore are the guys to carry your side to the top 4 and beyond.

The fact is they were draft busts and he just wont admit it. Maybe in 5 years time when Moore's played another 30-40 games and showed that he's really just a nothing AFL player and Butcher is getting dropped from the SANFL reserves then he'll believe it...or maybe he wont.

You obviously did not watch many Port games in the last half of the season to see the impact that Moore had.

Next year is make or break for Butcher. He has never had a full preseason so I won't judge him one way or the other until that occurs. Having said that, if he does not play consistent football next year then he is gone! Simple as that.

Totally agree re: Petrenko. Absolute liability of the highest order.

I watched probably 90% of Ports games over the year. While Moore looked AFL standard, thats not the test for a top 10 draft pick. I dont think his 'impact' was that great at all....and thats kinda my point.

He averages like 7 touches and a tackle a game. and less than 1 goal per game! Just because he kicked the last 7 points against you guys doesnt mean hes any good.

Collingwood and Sydney trade the Reid brothers.

Collingwood have switched a natural defender forward to support Cloke
Sydney are looking to switch a natural forward back to support Richards. (and now have Buddy/Tippett/Goodes forward)

Why not keep them in their preferred position and swap players.

The worst trade I've seen on this thread by far. Ben Reid is aa premiership player who has averaged more goal this season when he's playing forward than Sam Reid has the entire career. Ben has Sam covered offensively and defensively and is worth tons more. Ben is also less injury prone and way more consistent.
