Wait, wasn't it Cooney and Lake who weren't on speaking terms last year because their Mrs had a blow up?

Disclaimer: Only a very vague recollection of this and could be way off the mark.
I can vaguely remember this story but I reckon it might have been Nathan Eagletons mrs. But like you I can't be sure.

Hi guys. Long time reader, first time poster. Given GWS need some experienced players to help the younger guys finish off matches, what are your thoughts on the legitimacy and likelihood of th following players ending up at GWS next year?

Robert Warnock
Tayte Pears
Buddy Franklin (already been discussed)
Shane Savage
Tom Logan

The other thing I'd like to discuss: Levi greenwood, I'm a big gan of him but its clear brad doesn't have him in future plans. The guy is from SA, I think he will request a trade to port Adelaide. What he's worth? Not sure, sellers always want more and buyers want to pay less, but I'd be happy with pick 40-60. Would he replace casissin @ port?

Cheers

With Fletcher looking more and more like retiring, and Pears still being extremely capable, I think we'd like to keep him. Can't speak for the rest

Sydney supporters, what's Jed Lamb going to cost? High talent that doesn't get much of a go due to a stocked midfield/forwardline.

Over 40% of picks 20-30 are complete failures, so a pick in that range wouldn't be fair compensation. A KPD or ruckman would be a good swap.

We wouldn't trade Roughead or Talia, that would leave Markovic as our only KPD we could trade. He obviously couldn't get the deal done.

I was thinking a deal like the Koby Stevens one?

We then have a lottery pick in the 40s to try and get someone as good as the player we just lost.

Yeah correct, but I'm looking at from a view that Lamb will want to come to Victoria for more game time. In which case we (or any Victorian club) would hold leverage.

question with lamb is, will he lose his spot for finals if/when Lewis Jetta recovers from injury.

If he does, and Lamb misses out on the possibility of playing in another flag, then yeah I can see him forcing the swans hand a bit

Help settle an argument that I was having with a Carlton supporter last night

We were discussing what we would give up for the Num 1 pick

So this is what we both said so ill let you guys decide which is the better deal for GWS

Pies - 1st pick, Sidebottom, Brown
Blues - 1st pick, Simpson, Warnock

Pies offer.

Daylight.

Blues offer.

What's the contract situation with young Bulldog Mitch Wallis? Hawthorn are badly in need for a quick inside midfielder. It's one area we really do need time to invest into going forward.

I think Mitch is out of contract but he wont be leaving, has had a average year but has really started to come on in the last month of footy. He is tagged as a future captain of the club.
