For some reason, my gut feel is that Sloane ain't going nowhere. Adams could be on the move but surely every other club are salivating as much as we are on that front?

We will need to pay him much more than the others and satisfy GWS with a trade...But if we are not trying to make that happen I will be devastated!
He is a big body, get the ball and uses it pretty well! a young mid that could be around for a long time if we can manage to get this deal to work.

Doesn't Hogan start on a two year contract (like all draftees) that would be for 2014 & 2015? Or do they count his year in the VFL as the first year?

You are 100% correct, we have him until the end of 2015. I would hope we can out together a good coaching panel, draft some good talent and secure him for atleast another 2 years in too if that.

Why would Diugan be part of the trade?

He will be delisted at years end and isn't the type of player we really need

I'm actually a Dunn fan think that the critisicm he cops is purely as a scape goat , grimesy makes just as many howlers but doesn't cop half the flak

I don't really know Carlton's depth and I don't think they have the midfield depth to satisfy us
We need to find a mcglynn and Kennedy , somewhere in the afl there is bloody good midfielders playing 2's I just don't know where they are and why they would wanna play for us

Yep, I'm a Dunn Fan too. Sure he does some things that shit me, but he's no serial pest. in a winning team, I think we'd see alot less of the 'brain fade' type issues.

Plus he's apparently a Langy boy now, and atleast he's passionate enough about the game to get aggressive.

Whats wrong with Dunn(other then his face)? He makes howlers and sill mistakes... just like most of our players.

But he always plays his heart out and is one of the few players that showed any heart in the 184 event.

So what? He routinely makes ridiculous decisions and is a 115 game player (ie. is an experienced AFL player).

Terlich, Nicho, Howe and Grimes - all around 50 games or a fair bit less.

I think he's competitive and deserves his spot in the team, that's about it.

Mate I do respect your opinion because I generally agree with alot of what you say but I think your harsh on Dunn

I can't disagree with your last sentence I just wouldn't call him a dumb footballer , I'm not sure his best position is as a 3rd defender but he is making a pretty good fist of it
