I think people are taking this Frost thing a bit too seriously. Every chance that we'll draft someones at 40 and 53 who are every bit as good as #23.

I wonder if we can sign Hardingham or Kavanagh through the PSD. Both out of contract and put up for trade by Essendon. I'd be asking one or both of them to walk.

Kavanagh's contracted.

Frost looks like Jmac but actually makes good decisions. Love defenders who attack the ball rather than worry about their man.
Liked JMac. That rare defender who would always mark if in the better position to do so, regardless of spot on ground. Relieves so much pressure.

JKH, Kent, TMac, etc, were all pick 40+, there are truly some hidden gems higher up in the draft. We'll be right.

Also I feel a LOT more comfortable taking top picks into the draft in the Roos era, then I did previously. Let's hit this draft on the flipping head and let's make it OUR superdraft. Brayshaw and Petracca/McCartin, let's do this.

Is Frost more of CHB or FB? Certainly liked what I saw from that 2 minute clip although I do caution everyone to remember it's meant to be flattering. :p

Feel we did good during the trade period. Certainly addressed needs with small forward, rebounding backline player and some depth with a KPB.
Expect to pick up Brayshaw. Other one uncertain.
Future (under Goodwin) then probably Lever (CHB) with Frost (FB).
2015 (Ready to play now) then McCartin (FF) and Hogan (HF). Think Roos will go this way. And expect McCarlin/Hogan play round 1. When Dawes back round 2, then expect McCarlin/Hogan to come in and out during the year to ease them into it.

Dunn, Garland, Frost, TMac, Jetta, Lumumba, Grimes, Howe (will he even continue his stint in the backline?) - solid backline. While our trade period didn't seem overly active, we were one of the most active. Gave away peanuts, got Lumumba, Garlett, Frost, pick 3, and a few picks down the pecking order. Training will start in the next three weeks (started Melb Cup weekend last year), that will tie us over until the draft, where we get a glimpse at our future.

I hate referring to new kids as our 'future', but I have full faith in Roos and co that they will make our new draftees champions of the mighty Demons.

I'd feel a bit unclean but not totally against Brock coming back. He would still improve our midfield even if it is just to take pressure off others. Hardingham is an interesting one. Probably a B- grader but can play up forward or down back. Not a world beater but a type Roos would like I think
