I know I should be grateful, but we as supporters invest so much money into the club and the AFL every year, for the best tickets to go to corporates.

Anyway, will post again when initial anger dies down (and we've been lucky the previous 3 GF's have been pretty excellent seats).

Club can't do much. I have 3 KC memberships and it's the first time I've copped Q level (only ever sat up there once - in 2008 from memory). Dud seats. Will consider my options.

P1 and I get allocated a seat up on the edge of reality with the seagulls. Guess that's the end of my Kennedy membership. I am not angry as I know GF tickets are rare but you don't pay 1st class to sit up in the baggage racks with the chooks. Not where I come from anyway.

I got that first year of my KC membership - got great seats the next two years. It's a random ballot - ride the bumps with a grin.

As I said in my post. Not where I come from. Treating your top paying customers with disdain is not exactly world best practice because in the end they just move on. There are people happy with the arrangement and good on them. I just see things differently.

I got Q level in 2008 (as a silver member) and in 2012 (as a gold member). I know the pain, for those of you experiencing it today. It is stressful waiting to see what seats you receive in the Grand Final. I've been lucky the last two years, having acquired M level seats. But to be honest, I'd be happy with any seats in the house to see my boys play the big one.

HFC have zero say in the ballot you realise? It's a lottery - there's no science to it, just pure luck.

That's fine if the club had control over the ballot. It doesn't so there is no point hurting the club for something it cant control

The only thing the club can control is presenting you with an opportunity to watch a GF when we make it...given this is our 4th GF in 7 years no other club can offer you better value for money
