Not always the case, three years running rear of Q level on Gold..
happy to going but was expecting better at some stage.!!

If you select "best available" on level Q that may be the case as they sell them in blocks. Eg will sell all of Q15 before proceeding onto Q16. However, you get the option through the online system to choose your level you desire, personally I always sit level P for the view.

They allocate up to 60% of the available tickets to the competing club members and considering Hawks and Swans have limited gold members you can ring up and literally choose your exact seat you want.

Last year Hawthorn had 3871 AFL members (up 500 on 2012) but only 1400 Gold members. Sydney had just 818 AFL members and only 200 or so Gold members.

This year the Hawks probably have 4000 or so AFL members and 1600 Gold members (we'll know more when the AFL publish their annual report). The Swans a similar number to last year.

In each of 2012 and 2013 there were tickets available for Hawks / Dockers or Swans Silver AFL members to sit on the top deck

can anyone tell me what Q-49 row P is like - I know its in the heavens but are they ok seats?

Last year I was in Q-49 row GG and the view was better than I expected. Close to centre wing, and you'll be about 15 rows ahead of where I was, so it'll be alright. Enjoy!
