Burton definitely sounds like a big risk for potentially big reward pick. Can't say I'm thrilled with us picking up yet another short midfielder, but I haven't seen any of them play so we can only trust the guys who do it for a living.

Yeah funny choice, perhaps could've been taken at the next pick but no certainty if we rate him, big surprise but maybe Cole, Hibberd or Mathieson lasts to 42ish

I would prepare for a similar level of surprise/disappointment this year also! The likelihood of them picking exactly who we think is pretty slim and the kids we are all spruiking will end up at other clubs (and probably bombing!).

seysearles wouldn't ya think though what we need is sitting in that top 30 prospects?

Not sure many people picked Burton and Lovell as our first 2 picks. Lovell wasn't in most pundits top 50's.
