As a lifelong Australian Football supporter, I had a strong feeling leading into this game that for the first time ever I would be more interested in the Rugby League GF.

That has proven to be the case.

As good a side as Hawthorn is, for two years in a row we have had their opponents put in insipid performances in the big one. If you can't put your best foot forward for a Grand Final, it makes you wonder why are there in the first place.
