Doubt he go back to WA Now
They be the Big 3 Key Forwards of the AFL for at least the Next Decade
He'd be considered a star none of others have done thatWhat happens when Schache kicks 10 in his third game next year...?
Its a shame that Melbourne traded Martin. He really is a player that you guys could use at the moment.
Totally agree. At the time I was surprised we traded him. I put it down to being injury prone. He did miss most if not all of first season at Lions with injury as well. I think all teams are going to need a ruckman i.e. Goldstein and a fwd/ruck i.e. Ben Brown who can actually play ruck. We really struggle once Dawes goes into the ruck of late. Would love to have Martin at MFC as he fills that role perfectly. With the likely scrapping of the sub and reduction of interchanges I see this role becomong quiet important as hiding a ruck on the bench won't be practical.
Don't be stupid. Hogan played on Hurley, the likely AA FB while Daniher played on ******* McDonald
Daniher is the best young key forward in the game apart from Cameron. You think Hogan is worth our first rounder and Daniher. LOL
I wouldn't even do a straight swap.

Hate to be super pedantic but Cleetus got most of his goals on Dunn that day, McDonald went forward in the 2nd half.
Ok, well he was on dunn then
Yeah he played really well, Dunn has had issues on those super tall forwards before. I rate Daniher super high, if he can consistently kick well he'll be ridiculously difficult to defend with his reach and leap.
I am warming to the idea of Carlisle at Melbourne, I'd be willing to part with our 1st rounder in 2016. Dunn is getting on in years (And he is still a B grader at best), if we had McDonald/Carlisle as CHB/FB we'd be set in defence for a decade.
Two of Daniher's goals were from marks on the lead when McDonald was on him, two were from pack marks that included McDonald, and one was from a mark on the lead when Dunn was on him.Sounds weird, but I don't think we NEED Martin right now. Martin plays his best footy as the no1 ruck, he is OK up forward but we would be wasting him as a forward/ruck with Gawn in the side (He is better than Gawn right now but Gawn is developing very nicely).

Notwithstanding Hogan and Daniher are completely different players (Daniher is FF and occasional ruck, Hogan is CHF), Cameron right now is the best young tall in the game, Daniher and Hogan are in the bracket below him (I am extremely optimistic about how good Hogan will be, but on what we've seen so far its Cameron > daylight ).
FYI menzel hasn't traiend fully since round 2. Has had interrupted preseasons (year 1 he had op, year 2 hip surgery and last preseason he had multiple soft tissue injuries). He will be a mid when he has the opportunity to train to build his tank to be one.Get the feeling the blues need midfielders and not 20 flanker / wingers.
Would not think there would be much between them if both on the open market.

hmm i think there are a few ahead of Moore atm. i Don't see him as physically big enough to dominate as a key forward. But then again thats what pre seasons are for. Would love any type of key forward at all up here. They be the Big 3 Key Forwards of the AFL for at least the Next Decade
That will be an interesting one. What would Geelong demand for Motlop?

They're the most likely to target Leuenberger Chris loves him he said so when he retiredThat will be an interesting one.
If they ask for a pick then they should be able to get a first rounder for him but it could take a twist with McIntosh retiring?
I wouldn't be surprised if they tried to get him to a club that had a ruckman that is not getting regular games.
I would be surprised if Geelong don't go hard at him and from the big fella's point of view, it would probably be much more appealing to go to a side that is still pretty competitive even though they have slipped this year. They're the most likely to target Leuenberger Chris loves him he said so when he retired

Are the blues leading the race for AishYou would not think there is much between an uncontracted player who seemingly wants out, and a contracted player who we won't want to lose and who has not indicated he wants out?
Think harder.
Not sure if you don't rate Menzel or over rate Aish.
Menzel is averaging 1.5goals per game in 38 games in an injury riddled season at 20 years old.
Aish is no where near to this level.

We've gained one player and lost 4 to free agency. Tell me again how wearisome that makes you?I would be surprised if Geelong don't go hard at him and from the big fella's point of view, it would probably be much more appealing to go to a side that is still pretty competitive even though they have slipped this year.
I would love to see some other club trump Geelong though.
The free agent to Hawthorn, Sydney, etc parade is getting a tad wearisome.

Everyone will still think that the NEAFL is a poor form guide for AFL.What happens when Schache kicks 10 in his third game next year...?
