Lake would have value as depth and as a tutor to our developing KPD. And come the end of the year he would hopefully be given a fair go at cracking into the side in front of Gibson, Frawley or Tarrant if his form was better than any of theirs.

Was part of his Carlton front runner for Carlisle story tonight. Says Brisbane using their psd pick on Dixon leaves Carlton to threaten Psd for Carlisle to Essendon (assuming GC win the q clash and jump Carlton into 3rd last.)
I think that is actually good for footy. Nothing better to build a rivalry than screwing the neighbours over.

I was wondering how Carlton could get both Carlisle and Aish considering neither are worth pick 3, Carlisle perhaps under a clean sleight but no way known is he worth that with this WADA process happening.
I'd say Carlisle for nothing, Aish for a second rounder, Yarran traded out for a second rounder, and then to have pick 2 or 3 in the draft and things look good for the Blues.
The thing is, with so many players moving around, I can see pick swaps happening, not given Carlton would end up with pick 3 it could slide a little. Who knows cause Brisbane and Essendon already have low picks.
How about the nerve of Brisbane to ask for a priority pick and now the talk of getting Dixon from the GOLD COAST SUNS mind you, for nothing in the PSD. The nerve of the club.

Maybe. Kids still have to make it and Dixon still has to not get injured more than he plays. You'd think they would at least get one 200 game gun out of three though minimum which is better than they have now.

No. We're not giving up a Greenwood, Stanley or Higgins who were traded for pick 21 to 25. Even Cooney was traded for pick 37. Contract means we'd want more. Pick and a player or he stays.

Considering he's still contracted, there's literally no way the club would even consider that. You'd require a Lions/Pies/Beams deal. First round pick, second pick, plus a player.
I wouldn't be completely opposed to trading him, but the club will play hardball on this one.
Same flog who said Bennell was being shopped around, only for the Suns to respond to his BS as total crap and that Harley is contracted and 100% isn't going anywhere. All of a sudden old Scoop of Dog Shit went very quiet on that one.
Yarran is worth 18-25, depending on demand, all day long.
